New campaign in Los Angeles: Live for Sderot     Yitzhak Benhorin
1. To whom will the "charity" go?
When I called several relevant numbers the last time this was promoted (before it was postponed), nobody in Sderot (or in the consulate in LA) seemed to know to which proejcts the charity money would go. Does anybody know this time?

2. I live in LA and never heard of it
If the Jewish community who supports Israel hasn't heard of this campaign then what makes you think anybody else has? If the LA Times does not do a story on Sderot( and they won't b/c they are a liberal, anti-Israel paper) then nobody will hear of Sderot.

3. #2 Carrie
Call the consul in LA and make sure that this event and the drive to hep Sderot is given wide press reporting.

4. PR Israeli style ( non existent?)
needs to be more vocal and have Jewish film makers involved. Why not approach Steven Spielberg to make a film? I wonder why so few Jewish giants in the entertainemnt filed have not been asked to promote this effort? There's so much talent going unasked why not involve more PR experts to help Israel? Seems all the PR comes form Saudi funding where they aim for our universities. Are we mute?

6. Great project for some of the funds
Look at www.operationlifeshield.org It's a great grassroots project that's doing great things to protect Sderot's children. Maybe some of the raised raised can be used for this project?.
