1. Sharon govt and settlers one group
Sal Azam ,   Chicago, USA   (03.08.05)
These God's chose thieves and criminals who give out edict that stealing the crops of the Palestinian is legal. That kiiling them, deceiving them, demolishing their houses is kosher are all one group. They are preparing for a sham civil war to introduce their fake messiah very soon who will be taken care of within 40 of his appearance and declared divinity. Messianic Jewish movement will come to an end with Zionism. Seeing is believing.
2. Easier to destroy Palestinian homes
Marlene Newesri ,   New York/USA   (03.08.05)
I wonder why it is so difficult to dismantle illegal settlements, but it was not difficult to destroy thousands of Palestinian homes as collective punishment over the years, and leave children sleeping on a pile of rubble, or demolish them for military purposes and/or because a Palestinian cannot get a permit to build.

I can see you two are misinformed. First of all, no matter how much you hope for the Jews to be destroyed and for their essential philosophy to vanish, it will not happen. The Jews have outlasted all the peoples they've had to contend with, the Arabs are no different. And the Israeli military destroys homes of terrorists, which is legitimate considering what havoc these terrorists cause in Israeli civilian areas. If the Arabs stopped fighting, they'd actually win. They'd win peace and economic well-being.
4. As always, the usual reply (To Felix)

I can assure you, I am very well-informed. . Israel has been systematically demolishing homes of the Palestinians since 1967 for one reason or another. In the case of demolishing homes as punishment, even if a person were guilty of a crime, obviously, you do not punish the innocent also, however, you apparently approve of collective punishment which violates international law, and also contradicts the standards of any society that wishes to call itself "civilized." Your remarks are the usual knee-jerk reaction when any criticisms are made of Israel which is usually that someone wants to the Jews destroyed, instead of trying to make some credible points. For your information, house demolitions are well-documented on the B'tselem website and ICAHD (the Israeli Committee Against Home Demolitions) who actually help to rebuilt destroyed homes. I doubt whether you would dare accuse these two Israeli organizations of wanting to "destroy Jews." By the way, I myself am Jewish, which does not mean I am under an obligation to support the oppression of other people and barbaric acts committed against them. One of the articles on the ICAHD website is the following. You can cut and paste it into your browser. This is one story of a disabled Palestinian Arab man, who also happens to be a citizen of Israel. This is how his home was demolished. The author, Fred Schlomka, sums it up quite well when he states, "One wonders where the humanity has gone in a society that allows these atrocities to occur on a daily basis to minority citizens. And one has to ask the Jewish people in Israel where their outrage is, where their sense of common decency has gone, to allow any among us to be treated like dogs and garbage". http://www.icahd.org/eng/news.asp?menu=5&submenu=1&item=93

Lin Petro ,   USA   (03.17.05)
I certainly hope they do NOT demolish the former homes of the Israelis being relocated to Israel proper from the West Bank and Gaza areas. I think the Israeli families of these evacuated homes would ultimately be curious about the Palestinian families who will eventually inhabit their former homes. I would be curious. I would wish them peace and health and happiness. I would want my former house to share energies of happiness and peace with its new inhabitants, instead of fear, anger, resentment and misunderstanding. I ALSO wish blessings to all those Israeli families that are being relocated. I wish you much happiness, peace and community in your new homes within Israel proper. You are doing something very powerful with your lives by giving up something so precious as your homes for the sake of other human beings. Bless both sides. Peace to the Middle East Lin in America
