1. Allah on Eastern Wall
L.M.F. ,   USA   (03.31.05)
This grafitti on the eastern wall of the temple proves one thing. Muslims and Palestinians have no respect for life or other religions. They have no respect for their own holy sites so why should they be trusted to repair antiquities? Any people that have this lack of respect for a holy site certainly are not deserving of respect themselves. There is something wrong with a mind that would defile something that holds meaning for so many religions around the world. But what should we expect from a religion that advocates decapitating and killing people that will not convert to their religion?

When is the Israeli government going to put an end to this travisty? When are they going to remove the Muslims, who have NO right to be there and take back control of this most Holy Jewish Temple? Can anyone imagine the worldwide outcry that would be heard if Jews or Christians decided to take control of Mekka?
3. JERUSALEM MENTIONED OVER 800 TIMES IN BIBLE, NOT IN KORAN
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (03.31.05)
There NEVER was an Arab country of Palestine. Jerusalem was NEVER the capital of any Arab or Muslim entity. There was not a single mosque in Jerusalem at the time of Muhammad's death. In past centuries the Temple Mount was NEVER holy to Muslims It is extremely shocking that Israel gave control of Judaism's holiest site to Muslims, who belong to the politically correct religion of Islam. Jews and Christians are arrested if they pray or are even suspected of praying on the Temple Mount! Jews and Christians are persecuted in the Jewish Holy Land!
4. People who support Israel are stupid
MKA ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (03.31.05)
How can there be such a thing as a "Temple Mount" when there is no temple. Just another dumb Jewish lie. I guess since the Vatican is not mentioned in the Bible even once, it is wrong for Christians to claim it as holy. :-)
5. The Temple Mount
W ,   Helena, MT   (03.31.05)
Keep your eyes on Jerusalem... for it is there that we will see the abomination of desolation standing in the holy place... Is this Islamic blasphemy not it... or is there even worse to come? Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Yeshua is coming again... May Yahweh have mercy on US.
6. Another dumb lie?
Windy ,   CC,TX   (03.31.05)
The reason it is called the Temple Mount is because in the history of Israel there have been two temples built there. The most noted was built by King Soloman and called one of the wonders of the ancient world, destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD. The third and last temple will also be built there as foretold in the Bible during the beginning of the Tribulation. Ignorance of history does not mean there is none. As for the Vatican and the "deity" of the Pope, that is a CATHOLIC claim, not a Christian one. God bless.
7. Is the Gematria for Moron and Marcadams the same?
Shai ,   Israel   (03.31.05)
Probably. In Marc's world, your death is proof that you were never born, and you don't exist if your name's not in the phone book. And "people who support Israel are stupid"? Id dat a fakt? :-) I bet the other "dumb Jewish lies" must be real doozies.
8. Temple MT

It's a sign of unmitigated human folly!
9. Another Dumb Lie?

As a converted Catholic I find this an approprite time to cast the light of truth on the oft misunderstood "deity" of the Pope. The Pope is the human sprirtual head of the Catholic Church, but he is not deified by the faith, nor is he considered infalliable in every way. Papal infalliability is is term used to describe the unaasailibilty and irrefutabilty of the ultimate authority of the papal office to adjudicate church doctrine, only correctly used when it is a matter considered by the entire body of cardinals of the church. When the entire body of cardinals has decided upon a doctrine, the Pope "rules" upon it as a part of the cathechism or understnading and practice of the church. This "Papal Infalliability" has only occured twice in the last one hundred years, to my knowledge. The Pope is seen by all Catholics as a human, who canb and does sin and make errors. Through a study of the Church with an open mind was I "converted "or "re-converted" to the original Christian church. I remain a Christian, a Jew, and am a Cathloic and proud of it.
10. Jerusalem mentioned .....
DGM ,   USA   (04.01.05)
Good points! It is called the TEMPLE mount after all, not the mosque mount. I believe the mosque on the temple mount is more of a political statement than a religious shrine.
11. Hmm of course it is holy for Muslims
Nashir ,   Trinidad   (04.05.05)
Good Day to all...of course the 'Temple' is holy to muslims, if you understand that islaam views Moses and all the prophets as Muslims including David etc.. and that Jerusalem was the first Qibla [prayer direction] and the mosque is mentioned in the quraan as the place the Prophet Sallahualihewasalam ascended to heaven. the issue is the jews rejected jesus and tried to kill him, but thats a whole other topic.
12. Islam views what it wants to see
T. A. Adams ,   OKC, Oklahoma USA   (04.06.05)
Since there was no such thing as Islam until the 7th century AD it is not possible for the early prophets mentioned in the Torah and the Bible to have been Muslim. Likewise, Jerusalem was not the place the Qur’an speaks of regarding Mohammad's "dream" of ascending to paradise; that would have been Madinah, which was at that time as Mohammad described it; “the furthermost mosque”. So, there is no factual Muslim religious tie to this most Holy place to Jews and Christians. In an effort to abide by the rules of this site I will not comment further on that issue… at least at this time. As for the Jews rejecting Jesus, they were not alone in that and the responsibility for his death is on the shoulders of all mankind; so I'd not be casting any stones today.
13. You still dont understand
Nashir ,   Trinidad   (04.14.05)
if it is as you say, islam did not exist before 7th century AD so these early prophets were not muslims, then were the previous prophets all jews, all christians, a mix of the two? obviously you dont understand the meaning of muslim or islaam. the muslim is the one who submits to God totally, like Moses, Jesus and all those who came before them like Noah and Abraham [neither Jew nor Christian, or as mentioned there was no such thing at the time]. In addition, the meaning of the ' furthest mosque' is expounded in the other islamic texts, which states jerusalem. And by the way...who else is responsible for rejecting jesus?
14. You Nashir
T. A. Adams ,   Oklahoma City USA   (08.13.05)
In answer to your question, if you are Muslim, then you are rejecting Jesus.
15. Re: you still don't understand
Danie ,   New York   (10.14.05)
What you fail to understand is that the people of the book were neither jews or christians. But guess what, they weren't muslims either. They worshipped Yahweh and I dare you to challenge me on that.
16. Temple Mount
daniel ,   New York   (10.14.05)
The Temple Mount belongs to the Creator. That is why it is called the House of Yahweh. Yahweh's religion can be found in the Torah, not he Quran. The Quran is filled with lies and contradictions and its main purpose is to take the covenant away from the children of Israel.
