My friend Sal Azam has a point, but here is a more dire question. Israel with all its nuclear power has never vowed to destruction of any country, whereas Iran continues to express its goal of destroying the only Jewish state. He also misses the point about why Israel went nuclear in the first place - because of Arab states stated desire to destroy this young nation in the 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's.

Yes it might be true that Israel has nuclear weapons, but Israel is also a democracy that is 100% against terrorism, while Iran seeks the destruction of Israel and harbors terrorist. So Sal wake up and smell the uranium!

Ed, that might be the best job of presenting facts to completely disprove, not to mention embarass someone. How one can argue with Gurion's quote is beyond me, he is our founding father practically.
