Israel is a melting pot with people from all over the world. Many immigrants to Israel came from Arab countries to include my Syrian and Egyptian relatives. They brought the food and traditions from where they were born to Israel. Falafel, hummus, pita etc. are standard cuisine in Israel and eating is a national pastime. Those who question Israel's right to claim Arab or oriental food as their own should go to Israel and experience Israeli hospitality. You won't be disappointed.

When you tell Israelis to go back to where they came from, are you also talking about, by some accounts, the nearly 1 million of them who came from Arab countries?
