Who is paying for this ? If Israel can afford to give every young jew on the planet a free trip to ISRAEl, then Israel HAS to stop welfaring from the USA. Obviously Israel puts money aside for this type of thing, which no other coutnry does, and yet STILL comes mooching off of the USA, begging for more aid, daily.when the US's own economy is awful, our health care system and education system etc. need re hauls. . AMERICANS WAKE UP.

What a strange paradox the PM has created - while he actively courts youth to visit and to make aliyah , he also actively strenghtens the hands of the enemies of these same youths that he is courting. If Sharon and others like him are finally ousted from power, I suspect there will be much more motivation to make aliyah. One can't plead for immigration on one hand, and take away the Jewish homeland inch by inch on the other.

if you have been following the news, you would actually know that after the gaza pullout they are plnning on making the arm smaller. The have proposed that the service for men will be cut down from 3 years to 2 years. Their has also been alot of conversation about only keeping a combatant force and out sourcing everything else.
