You are totally out of date and touch with reality. First, If Sharon thought it was viable to keep the settlers in the illegal settlements of Gaza without draining the country out of human and financial resources he would never do it! Secondly, the settlements are internationally recognised as illegal and without evicting them, including all the ones in the westbank, there will never be peace in the region and Israeli will crumble faster than you or people of your likes can imagine.

The reason he is lying and evading answers because his original plan is NO to the Road map. Disengagement has not began and should not happen at all. All his actions depends on how much pressure Bush can apply on him. Bush has very little power in his hand and Sharon knows this and he is acting according to the changing circumstances. But orignal plan is NO to Road map and NO to any kind of pull out except relocation in the same areas. Bush knows this and is also evading questions because he does not want to say "I dont have the power to make Sharon abide by the Road map". Sharon is winning and Bush is a loose till the Israeli organized crimes is eradicated from United States by the FBI. Four senators were indicted and their are more corrupt pro Israeli senators and congressmen and women out of 535 plus Pentagon and White House has its own share of Rummies, Cheneys, Wolfies.......... I sent a long well written piece in reply to this article - it was not published. I suspect because it was too critical of prime ministers since the Oslo fiasco. Yet we all read the sheer diatribe written by all sorts of arabs and even had an arab complimenting this site. As a Jew and an Israeli I see I have no home here.
