Actually, Elijah, the message is that Jerusalem, in fact all freedom, is off-limits to the alleged attempted murderer. Gays are still free to live, work, and play in Jerusalem. The alleged attempted murderer is the one who is, rightfully, being held in captivity like the animal he is. While I understand why you might feel that way, I wouldn't worry too much about what bigots think of you...they'll always find an excuse.
