It cannot be a coincidence that this infighting has become this serious after the big election wins Hamas has enjoyed recently. It is quite possible that the PA (specifically Fatah) is instigating the fighting in the hope it will shift the Palestinian public opinion in Fatah's favour. After all, Israel is continuing to kill Palestinian activists and civilians every day, so why the hec should the Palestinians be expected to seize fire and wait to be killed!!!!
