1. Two items to add to the list of tragic events on Tisha B'Av
Andras Bereny ,   Kfar Tapuah - Israel   (08.11.05)
- Gen. Sharon's "Disengagement" deportation of Jews from Gaza Plan - Kfar Tapuah expulsion of Jewish defenders of the town (see http://www.voiceofjudea.com/eng). Sinat hinam? It seems that we never learn.

Its the day that Moshiach is born- either literally or in essence. And its also the begining of the Final Redemption. As the story that is known (roughly- this is the general idea, anyway): three great sages were sitting and staring at the ruins of the Holy Temple, when a fox ran through the holy of holies. Two of them began to cry bitterly, while the third- Rabbi Akiva- began to laugh and giggle. The two turned to him and asked 'why dont you cry as we do?' he asked in return 'why do you cry?' they replied 'because the holiest of holies is being desecrated! The Jews have been exiled from their land! The Temple is in ruins!' etc. He answered 'I am laughing because this proves the words of the prophet to be correct. He predicted this very event exactly as it has happened, and he has also given over G-d's promise that it will one day be rebuilt and the jews returned to their former glory. Therefore I laugh of joy: I now see that the first part of the prophesy has been fulfilled, and am therefore certain that the second part will also be fulfilled.' May we merit the rebuilding of the Temple, together with the re-establishment of the Jewish people to their former glory, very soon! May this Tisha B'Av be spent not in mourning and sadness, but in happiness and joy over the newly built Third Temple and the arrival of the Final Redemption with Moshiach.

alan kvasnik ,   Minnetonka mn   (08.12.05)
Old story of Napoleon being in GAZA saying Jews had a future in their homeland, ironic that Jews were in Gaza 350 years ago and napoleon pronounced a future here, yet Herr Sharon has prescribed ethnic cleansing on the Jews
6. #5 or someone else, help!
Ann C. ,   USA   (08.13.05)
Could someone please post info that would direct me to proof that Napoleon was in GAZA when he said this? This is amazing to me, if true. :-)

"Relentless pursuit of idol worship, sexual immorality, murder and hatred." Has any thing changed? The sons of Israel are doomed.
