SAMUEL BLAIR ,   BOCA RATON USA   (08.29.05)
THE PRIME MINISTER CAUSEDMUCH UNCALLED FOR PAIN AND SUFFERING AMONG HIS PEOPLE. WHAT HE DID WAS A HORRENDOUS REPEAT OF HITLER'S REGIME. PULLING JEWS FROM THEIR HOMES AND BUSINESSES! FROM WHAT HE NOW CALLS "NOT PART OF iSRAEL. HIS BRAVE SOLDIERS DIED FOR THAT LAND! NOW HE SPITS ON THEIR GRAVES! GAZA AND THE SINAI WAS PART OF ISRAEL BECAUSE ISRAEL DEFEATED ALL THE ARAB ARMIES. THAT IS THE WAY IT IS IN THIS UNIVERSE. THE KNESSET SHOULD HAVE IMPEACHED SHARON FOR SUCH ACTION. ESPECIALLY THAT HE DOES NOT WHAT IS AND WHAT IS NOT PART OF THE STATE OF ISRAEL! I THINK SHARON SHOULD STOP TAKING ORDERS FROM THE WHITE HOUSE AND DO FOR ISRAEL WHAT IS BEST FOR ISRAEL AND FOR THE WHITE HOUSE! HIS GENERALS SHOULD TELL HIM THAT ISRAEL IS THE MOST POWEFUL MILITARY FORCE IN THE ENTIRE MIDDLE EAST AND DOES NOT AND SHOULD NOT TAKE ORDERS FROM THE WHITE HOUSE. SHARON'S FIRST ORDER OF BUSINESS SHOULD BE TO DESTROY THE HAMAS AND ALL THE OTHER TERRORIST GROUPS INCLUDING HIZB'ALLAH. THEN HE WILL RECEIVE GREAT CONGRATULATIONS FROM LEADERS ALL OVER THE WORLD, INCLUDING SOME ARAB NATIONS. IT MIGHT HELP WITH ALIYAH. AND IT WOULD HELP CALM DOWN IRAN. SHALOM.

Living Boca Raton removes any right that he may have to critize our prime minister. These remote control fanatics just spout hate
8. Netanyahu is the WORST thing that can happen to Israel

Arab for Israel ,   Texas, USA   (08.30.05)
I have a special admiration for your P.M, who is the most trustful leader for Israel...he is one of the rare men able to win the battle of peace for Israel, like he won several military battles...Bibi has certainly a lot to learn from Mr Sharon`s experience before pretending to lead a great nation like Israel! arab4israel@yahoo.com

Brana Lobel ,   USA   (08.31.05)
1) Except for #1, the comments so far have no substance and do not address issues. 2)I am appalled at the low level of reponse given by Ariel Sharon and Silvan Shalom. They immediately junp to extreme negative character analysis. That isn't even done in the "wild west" USA any more by political leaders. 3) Sharon is clearly a failed leader. He has used excessive force and illegality and threats to ensure an agenda that was not only wrong but was probably not what the majority of the Israeli people wanted. He must be replaced by someone. Even though Uzi Landau might make a better PM than Netanyahu, he might not be able to get the votes. 4)To the extent that the structure of the Israeli government supports tactics like Sharons', it has to be revised.
11. i prefer sharon too
xavier ,   paris, france   (08.31.05)
sharon is the last great leader of Israel (i mean those who have been confronted with all the difficulties in the past and also those who were hero who risk their lives). sharon , i think , has also made the right choice in his life and for israel till then. he can easily understand that the situation for israel in gaza is not sustainable too , and even painful ,the current pullout was also good for israel in the long term (stategically speaking) i think that the fence of sharon will also solve the problem in the long term too by giving a border that will surely be recognized by the world because it is already backed by the USA (EU will follow soon). bibi didnt do anything when he was prime minister , he only wasted time , he did very little for israel as PM!
