5. Be sure isa, no non-Jew asking for help will be turned down
Boaz ,   Ramat Gan, Israel   (09.02.05)
Jewish aid organizations helped the victims of the tsunami and of ethnic violence in Africa and the Balkans. They have helped and will help all those in need. The advantage in a situation where those in need of aid and those who give it are of the same community (be it Jewish, catholic, Muslim..) is that they can get organized more quickly, that way making their aid more available to all those in need. In times like these all the aide organizations, of whatever religious or ethnic affiliations, also help each other. To the people of New – Orleans, Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama: Our hearts are with you in these harsh times, be strong in this disaster. Nature may have brought down all the technologies of man but the human sprit has the strength and will to overcome the worse of nightmares, even when pain, devastation, and despair are at their worse. So be strong, because you are not alone, the whole world is with you.

You made some important points. Also, as soon as the extent of the devastation was known, Sharon contacted Pres. Bush and offered to send hundreds of Israeli doctors, nurses and specialists, along with field hospitals and equipment to put up temporary housing. Ironically, the Israelis have even offered help to countries that would just as soon see Israel wiped off the map, but even that didn't stop them when there were people in need.

The height of chutspah: thieves offering a few crumbs back to the poor and homeless in the American South, after pocketing billions of dollars in Washington, money that rightfully belongs to the long suffering US taxpayer, not the criminal settlers and other ganavim in Jerusalem.

Does that vile antisemitic post from accessol in Spelthorne, England really need to remain at this site? What business is U.S. tax dollars to someone in England? This is a time for people to come together, not for hate speech.

We have an active employment market, commuter train to Boston, UMass affiliated state college, and very good schools. If anyone knows of individuals or families in need of short-term or long-term hosting in private homes, or who would need relocation assistance for a possible permanent move here, please email me and I will get the information to our Rabbi to provide to the interested parties in confidence.
