Abbas hopes for state by next year    Associated Press
1. and if there's no state next year?-another intifadah?
arab leaders tend to promise their people the impossible-Israel thus becomes the scapegoat when all goes awry.
benjamin ,   london   (09.03.05)
2. So what
Abbas says in a year there will be a state. Why do they deserve a state? I don't believe they've earned it. The Kurds deserve a state 1000% more because they're actually repressed religiously by every country they live in in the Arab world. They except in a few instances resort to violence. The Tibetans deserve a state more than the Palestinians. They face brutal oppression by China (which doesn't warrant an investigation by the International Criminal Court (of which China sits on).

3. THERE NEVER WAS AN ARAB COUNTRY OF PALESTINE
Jerusalem was NEVER the capital of any Arab or Muslim entity. JERUSALEM IS MENTIONED OVER 800 TIMES IN THE BIBLE, not once in the Koran. Around 1948, Arabs violently ETHNICALLY CLEANSED about one million Jews from Arab countries. Arab governments seized the land, homes, bank accounts, businesses and assets of the Jews. Most of the Jewish refugees fled to Israel. THERE MUST NOW BE A JUST SETTLEMENT FOR THE JEWISH REFUGEES AND THEIR DESCENDANTS-COMPENSATION IN LAND AND FINANCES. In 1922, Britain illegally gave MOST OF PALESTINE-80% TO THE ARABS. The area became Jordan, giving the Arabs an Arab Palestinian state on JEWISH land. IT WAS ETHNICALLY CLEANSED OF JEWS. This area is part of ancient, Biblical Israel, and along with present-day Israel, including Judea, Samaria, Gaza and the Golan was recognized by the League of Nations as the Jewish homeland. In 1948, Egypt invaded Gaza and ethnically cleansed ALL Jews. In 1948, Jordan invaded Judea-Samaria (West Bank) and east Jerusalem and ETHNICALLY CLEANSED ALL JEWS. Jordan, opposing G-D DESTROYED 58 synagogues in Jerusalem. In 1967 when Israel won Islam's religious war of aggression against it, Jews returned to the areas of their homeland they had been ethnically cleansed from for 19 years. Islamofascists DECEITFULLY call this return "occupation". Under international law, territories are considered "occupied" only when taken in an act of aggression which does not apply to Israel. Judea, Samaria and Gaza are not 'occupied territories' according to international law because they were not taken from any foreign sovereign. ALL of the Jewish land, homes, properties and businesses stolen from the Jews in the 1948 Islamic invasion must be returned to the Jews IMMEDIATELY.

4. A Palestinian state next year, for the 15th time
Is this Pals State meant to be what Bush has vision of, or the one Sharon will dictate, or the one Arafat claimed, or the one Abbas will accept, or…or.. Talking about a Pals state before ending Israeli occupation is ridiculous.

5. to #3 are'nt yo tired of lies
It is the same old zionist propaganda again which convince nobody except the ignorants, astonishing, you people are never tired of lying. There never was a state called palestine??? and when there was a state called Israel? when was ever a state called jordan or saudi arabia or even Nicaragua most of the modern states are created in the 20'th century and before that they was not there so please stop this stupidity. about the jews refugees form arab states read the history again the jews people in the arab world did all what they can to immigrate from the arab states to israel even they commit terror acts against their communities to make them leave. before that the jews people lived in peace there and never been attacked about the 67 joke stop saying that the arab states attaked you because this is not true YOU BEGAN THAT WAR AND YOU ENDED IT. the war was a big victory for israel that true and you OCCUPIED the west bank which was belong to an independent state called Jordan and Gaza from another independent state called Egypt and Gollan from Syria so why doesn't it considered occupied. It's occupied and the international community never recognized it as part of israel IS THAT CLEAR???

6. Answer to 5
The same old Arab propaganda. There never was a state called "Palestine". There was a region called "Palestine", named such by the conquerors of the state that was there before, "Israel". There were, as a matter of fact, two Jewish states in the area you call "Palestine", the Kingdom of Judea and the Kingdom of Israel. Look it up. Regarding the rest of what you wrote, it's not worthy of any response. But for those who are confused by it, here are the facts: 1) the Jewish refugees from Arab states were expelled not due to terror acts they committed against the states they were in as Rami asserts, but by Arab governments in a backlash against the founding of the State of Israel in 1948. The statement that the Jews lived in peace amongst the Arabs previously and "were never attacked" is a fabrication, but nevertheless, irrelevant to the fact that the Jews were expelled from Arab countries irrespective of whether that claim is true (it's not). 2) While it's true that the Arab states did not attack Israel in 1967, the historical record shows that Israel was in grave danger of an attack by the combined Arab forces, who clearly made it known that they had the attention of attacking, and had the Israelis not struck first, the Arabs would have succeeded in destroying the Jewish state. Given the choices, and the fact that the UN and other world powers were uninterested in pressing the Arab armies to cease their bellicosity, Israel did what it needed to in order to survive. No apologies are necessary, and arguing this point the way you did is small minded, picayune and misleading. 3) Regarding "occupied territory", aside from Jordan withdrawing its claim on WB in 1988, what made those territories Jordanian, Egyptian or Syrian any more than Israel's securing those areas in battle made them Israeli? Nothing, other than international politics at the UN. IS THAT CLEAR?

8. No, It's not
Because you keep going around the facts without facing it directly about the old jews satets in palestine I never talked about old history here am not talking about the situation thousands years ago am talking about modern states how many of them was on the map 50-100 years ago, so palestine is not alone here about the refugees issue am not going to say more about it but I want you and all the young jews originated from arab countries to ask their grand parents how they lived there before the creation of the state of israel and who force them to leave best regards

What ? did someone die and leave you as god to say who deserves a state or not . maybe next time god will create you as a palestinian just to show you the other side of the coin !!!!!!!

10. Yes, It is (8)
You select the facts that interest you, you can't face ALL the facts and thus, it's simple for you to raise Arab claims to this land over Jewish claims. For a people over 3000 years old, "old history" means something that it cannot mean to a people born in 1964 with the PLO covenant that explicitly denies Jewish rights to be here was written. Palestine was not a modern state, and was never even a state. It was a region, and had no political status at all, not unlike "Sahara" or "Gobi". Israel, on the other hand, was a political entity. Being that I live in Israel, I have no problem accessing Jews who lived in Arab countries. I've never met people who more stubbornly oppose any concession to Arabs, believing as they do that they are socially carnivorous and have endless appetites for honor and obeysance.

11. "Palestine" and "Palestinians" are Arab-created myths!
These Arabs are land occupiers and should kicked out of Israel and sent back to their homeland of Arabia! http://www.sullivan-county.com/id3/palestine.htm
