61. Yes Hiram
Letue   (09.12.05)
"Didn't we provide on purpose destruction of a synagogue on a silver plate to the palestinian mobs?" Yes, and the Palestinians knew it was a test. Which is why it bothers me so much.....they had the opportunity to take the high road but they didn't.
62. Uh Wise Man is really Stupid Man
Letue   (09.12.05)
You really shouldn't go around calling yourself a "Wise Man" when you can't even spell correctly. Wise up "Wise Man" and get with the program.
63. LOL Benjamin from London
Letue   (09.12.05)

65. Pictures of the Synagogues Burning
Jacob Richman ,   Ma'aleh Adumim, Isra   (09.12.05)
Shalom Everyone! Last night and today, Palestinians burned and destroyed synagogues in Gaza. It is very sad to hear most news commentators say "it was expected of them" or "it is Israel's fault for not destroying the synagogues in the first place". I posted pictures of the burnings at: http://www.jr.co.il/terror/israel/index.html It is also sad that commetators did not mention that it is unethical or just plain wrong to raze or burn any place of worship. The world tends to forget and sweep these "incidents" under the rug. This includes the burning of Joseph's tomb in Shechem in October 2000. You can view those pictures toward the bottom of: http://www.jr.co.il/terror/israel/index12.htm We Should Not Forget! Jacob
66. Don't be stupid
daniel ,   new york,ny   (09.13.05)
Burning down any mosque, let alone the Al-Aksa is one of the most idiotic things a Jew can say. So because the Palestinians (who never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity) are burning down deserted synagogues, we're supposed to desecrate Muslim holy places in Jerusalem ? These are architectural monuments that help make Jerusalem the unique, diverse and wonderful place it is. Unless you want to show the world what irresponsible and barbaric people Jews can be, I suggest you reconsider your comments. We are supposed to bring positive things to the world. Only good deeds will further our mission on Earth.
67. Whats the big deal?
Jameel Rashid ,   The Muqata   (09.13.05)
OK, so a few Palestinians lit a bonfire in a synagouge. The Romans and Greeks also destroyed the (never having existed) Jewish Temples in Jerusalem. If it was such a big deal, then why didn't the Jews destroy the Temples when the Romans and Greeks were approaching? If the Jews didn't destroy the Temples, the it goes without saying that there was no need for Israel to destroy them now. Moslems have a rich history of this kind of behavior. Big Years included 1929, 1936, 1948-1967, 2001, 2005. Yes, I know that others will say the Zionists have done the same to mosques, but if that were true, why are so many mosques still standing in Israel, even if they are never used? There's one in the old city of Jerusalem in the Jewish Quarter, standing right next to the destroyed (by Arabs, of course) Churva synagogue. And while we're already on the topic, since Arabs have no problem burning down synagogues, they obviously had no problem lobbing 2 Kassam rockets at Jewish civilians today. Have a nice day! Jameel The Muqata!
68. Tolerance
Ralph ,   Chicago, U.S.A   (09.13.05)
This is the all too familiar story of the Middle East as many of us Americans see it, tit for tat..One would expect some aggresion from them since the keywords here are mainly "38 Years of Occupation", living in squalor, disease and with no education. Let the misguided do what they must and lets now see what the PLA does to remedy this outburst before anyone thinks they have the solution sitting at their keyboards.
69. It's Sharon's Fault
Steve ,   MOTOWN   (09.13.05)
Let's face it. In essence Ariel Sharon and his government destroyed those synagogues. What did they expect the Arabs would do w/ them, preserve them until Moshiach comes? Without the withdrawal the shuls would still be standing. Sharon ym"s is a traitor.
70. 'palestinian'
Chaya ,   Israel   (09.13.05)
There is no such thing as a 'palestinian' people. It is a fabrication made up as a weapon against the Jewish people. I do have to admit, though, they are the greatest PR people in the world, creating media 'events' which bring them sympathy. Goebbels would be real proud of them!
71. Gush Katif synagogues
Jane Lavon ,   Israel   (09.14.05)
We ourselves should have destroyed our synagogues to have avoided what was obviously going to happen. Once the Sefer Torah was removed from each synagogue,in any case it ceased to be a holy place.
72. Beasts
irina ,   Israel-Russia   (09.23.05)
These beasts will be paid back. For sure. And very soon.
73. Tolerance
irina   (09.23.05)
What occupation are you talking about? Tomorrow these bandits will start proving that Chicago is their native city. They are ashamed of nothing. Nobody in the world wants to let them in. It was never their land and it won't be. Sooner or later these barbars, beasts and their bitches will be paid back.
74. LIARS
irina   (09.23.05)
Oh...oh...oh... "Terrible" zionists and silent obedient educated polite victims - palestinian barbars!!! Not funny. Everybody in the world has known them already. They are bandits and liars. See PALLYWOOD "how they make movies with their best friends - french journalists".
75. burning jews
irina   (09.23.05)
only together with your home, dear bandits'friend.
76. Stop splitting!
irina ,   Moscow   (09.23.05)
Israel is Israel. And palestinians (if this notion has ever exists as it is now) are palestinians, i.e. merely bandits. And this Land has never been your land and will never be.
77. Allah achbar
irina ,   TA - Moscow   (09.23.05)
You know the translation of Allah Achbar from Hebrew? It is: the mouse has escaped. So VANISH, you all, as soon as possible from here!
