61. Speak for yourself , Peter, as I do for myself.
AK   (09.26.05)
As to your questioning my loyalties, my loyalties are just fine, but it looks like your loyalties are with those who murdered 3000 Americans or were dancing for joy and passing out candies when my city was in mourning. Every time your favorite people make TV appearance they either cut somebody’s head or they bomb some restaurant, market or our soldiers in Iraq. When they're behaving themselves, they burn the American flag and chant "death to America." So, Peter, whose loyalty can be questioned, mine for supporting a decent democratic state whose population is friendly to us, or yours for championing your Islamo-fascist friends who are dreaming and scheming to bring Jihad to our shores? So, you and your anti-Zionist friends can go to ****, together with ANSWER and Mother Sheehan -- all paragons of patriotism that you are.

Ever read any Bible? No, not speaking of the Q'ran... I suggest reading the OT, or the Torah... the LAND was always "occupied" by Jews... AND GIVEN TO THE JEWS BY GOD... The Q'uaran does have a few (BIG LAUGH) errors. I do not mean to insult a 'people' or a country; but when I see blatent ignorance I have to speak out. I think you forgot a few wars, inparticular... the one that ISRAEL WON (ONE of them) when they REGAINED their county.... you know where every Arab State amased at their boarders- a new Country The hOmeland- Did you forget who won? ISRAEL DID! Think you must have not learned That in your 'studies'. GO STUDY THE TRUTH!
65. Not in My Name
Kathy ,   California   (09.26.05)
What were you before you got your American Citizenship..? There is NO, NONE, NADA, ZICH HISTORY of such a country named "Palestine, .. show me their leaders show me their currency of 'old'. There is none! The Land was always the Land of the Judeans; yes, given them by GOD and called that! The name (get this now...Not in My name.. given to Juthe Iraelies known as the jEWS way back when the Romans were angry at Israel was "Palestia" named after the dread enemy of Israel, Philestines, to sort of slap Israel in the face (Long ago) for rebelling against unfair treatement, etc., (realy to much to go into, here..) So you see, Not in my Name, there has NEVER REPEAT NEVER been a land of "Plaestine" nor a People called "Plaestenian" may I suggest Studying HISTORY- TRUE HISTORY-before you look any more ignorant? (oh by the way, you may wonder where 'Palestine" in the Bible (New Test.. came from... ummm,. try misinterpretation there is FACT to what I say here.. go study.

first of all i am Christian and i red the bible maybe more than you ... you didn't comment on any of my points ... it seams because you are just a hatress not more , can you tell me why the Jews didn't try to defend their land when they had to leave it many times like the Palistinians do now ? why the the Jewish people didn't collect them selfs and came to fight for their land all of this years , why they had to wait till England give it to them and America supported them till they became the strongst army in the area (made by America) , the answer is that they are cowerds and they depend allways on the others to do the job for them , and then they bite the hands which helped them by sending them such Polard .

Historical overview The term Palestine originates with the Philistines, who inhabited the southern coast of the region in biblical times. (get that.. blibical times- and since "palstinians"- don't belive in the Bible.. hummmm The name appears to have been in continuous use from that time to the present. The Philistines were defeated by the Israelites in about 1000 BCE, but the Greek historian Herodotus writing in c. 500 BCE, referred to seemingly the entire eastern coast of the Mediterannean as Palestinian Syria. The Roman historian, Pliny the Elder, writing before the first Jewish revolt also referred to this region as Palestine, though at the time that he wrote none of the official Roman names for regions in this area was "Palestine", and in this sense the name was no longer used. The name Palestine was officially reintroduced by the Romans following the fall of a Jewish revolt led by Bar Kokhba in 132-135 CE in the province of Judea. The Romans adopted the name for the province, possibly in an effort to erase any memories of the Judean rebels they defeated. Similarly, Jerusalem, the region's historic capital, was rebuilt as Aelia Capitolina and turned into pagan polis. For nineteen hundred years afterwards, the region was subject to successive waves of invaders, each of which left some mark on its people and landscape. This can be attributed to Palestine's strategic location at the crossroads of Asia, Africa, and Europe, and its unique religious status as a "Holy Land" to the three Abrahamic religions: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. In 1917, the British captured the region from the Ottoman Empire and called it Palestine/Eretz Israel (both had equal status as official names), after the longstanding Roman name for the area, Syria-Palestina and historical Hebrew name Eretz Israel. This came at a time of renewed interest in the country among the European powers, Arab nationalists, and Jewish Zionists, who sought to reestablish their ancient homeland there. Competition between the latter two groups came to a head immediately after World War II, when Zionist claims gained greater urgency after the murder of almost six million Jews in the Holocaust.
