Negotiations 'r us    Susie Becher
1. Dear Susie
Dear Susie, Actually, Prime Minister Sharon has made it perfectly clear that his plan now is to expect a cessation of terrorism from all elements of Palestinian society. Not an unreasonable expectation for you and your colleagues, too, I assume, given your self-declared powers of understanding.

2. negotiations'r us
While I think it is reasonable to expect that the Palestinians do all they can to eliminate terror and the use of it as a weapon, it is also reasonable to expect that Israel would continue to advance to negotiations as soon as possible and not let the situation continue to deteriorate. Susie does a good job of expressing our frustration with Sharon's doublespeak and questionable motives. The left has plenty to worry about - but so does the right if they really seek peace.

3. negotiation'r us
Stalin thought he could 'negotiate' with Hitler. Have you guys learnt nothing since the honest attempt at peace, the Oslo Accords was trashed by Arafat? The Palestinians aren't interested in peace. The destruction of Israel is their stated goal and anything less is heresy.
