What restrictions is Sharon talking about that are placed on the PA Arabs? He has allowed them unfettered access to Eqypt and the Sinai, free to compromise Israel's security even further. If he states Israel is at war (which it certainly is) why is the IDF operating under the doctrine of "limited conflict"?? Can anyone from the gov't answer this salient question?

When the IDF fire a missle into a car and innocent Palestinian civilians in the immediate area are killed it is called collateral damage. When a Palestinian blows himself up and Israelis are killed as well it is called an act of terrorism. Seems like in both one group is terrorizing another. Obviously neither Israelis or Palestinians have ever heard of Newton's law of motion, "That for every action there is an equal opposite reaction." It might be a good idea for both side to cease working on a "Final Solution" for the other. We are all just passing through here on this planet. Fighting over a piece of real estate, especialy one that is about as godforsaken as that hunk of ground is about as dumb as it gets. Now fighting over California real estate is an entirely different equation. If it wasn't so great a place to live then everybody wouldn't want to move here.

When the IDF takes out a terrorist gangster who is planning suicide murders of hundreds of people, it is an absolute necessity. If that terrorist uses human shields -- as all terrorists love to do -- and these are then killed, it is unfortunate and sad, but NOT deliberate. Islamic Jihad likes to pretend that their terror attacks are responses to Israeli actions, but this is simply not true. Islamic Jihad is a mercenary terror gang paid by the Syrians and Iranians to carry out terror attacks. Murdering civilians is their job, and they do it regardless of whether there is an Israeli response. The only cycle with Islamic Jihad is the cycle of Syrian pay and pressure, causign PIJ terror attacks. All any terror group needs to do to stabilize things is stop attacking Israeli civilians.
