RAMZI SFEIR ,   Bethlehem, Palestine   (11.06.05)
You support iran's call ??? ! NOT IN MY NAME! You are taking advantage of the fact that you are Under the media's Eyes and that whatever you say is written somewhere! YOU ARE Ruining the picture of palestine and of the palestinians! I SAY TO YOU NOW : NOT IN MY NAME! NOT IN MY NAME !!! NOT IN MY NAME!

3. Not in your name Ramzi?
Boaz ,   Ramat Gan, Israel   (11.06.05)
I’m glad to hear that, been waiting five years to hear that from the Palestinian side. It takes courage to say that. Our differences are undoubtedly hug, but I do respect you as a man of peace.

5. al aqsa brigade
ash ,   gush etzion   (11.06.05)
the al aqsa brigade has always told the western media that it is only fighting against the occupation of the west bank and gaza. the western media lap it up and believe all the lies. when will they begin to read arabic(or visit israeli media) and see what the truth is. what is the difference between al aqsa and hamas....none!!
6. hate begets hate
Gil ,   Tel Aviv   (11.06.05)
Hate is an all consuming thing. When you hate others, you hate yourself. Hate starts at home and eats away within us. Hate is negative and can never be a positive or productive emotion. Palestinians have to learn to love. They have to learn to love themselves first so that they can learn to cope with their tragic and difficult position. At the moment, Hamas, Al Aksa etc stating their open hatred which is an all encompassing rage that eats away inside them, will never succeed in their goals of "wiping Israel from the map". Their only true hope is reconcilliation and love. Until they realise this, they will be doomed to their current hell of poverty and war... Allah / G-d / Jesus etc... same thing, same people, same problems....same solution.
7. Does Geroge Rice read YNET?
Sarah ,   Kfar Saba   (11.06.05)
Silly me. Condie Bush and George Rice know the whole story. The sad thing is they don't give a darn. Obviously! So lets give them some more money and phony legetimization.
8. Not surprised one bit....
Hiram ,   Tel Aviv   (11.06.05)
The call for Iran , joined now by the call from some representatives of the Islamic-subculture produced in all the Arab dicatorships is no more no less than a duplicate from National-Socialist doctrine from 1933 to 1944. There is however one difference, the nazis had a vast support from the population, whereas the Palestinian have very few supporters, hence the indifference of the population. We see a lot of Arab nationalistic gesticulation typical of religious fanaticism, we do not see a lot a political proposals but of course to talk about politics it first takes to be educated. Palestinian propaganda remains propaganda and no ideas are very original...show us something REALLY new which can bring up our interest , such as an Arab realization of something good for the people, a scientific discovery of importance tu humanity...no ?
9. hate
alan ,   usa   (11.06.05)

12. Be Safe Ramzi
Boca Raton, Florida   (11.06.05)
I hope you will be safe Ramzi. Thank you for your brave words. We should all live in peace. Our energies should be spent on curing diseases and ending poverty.
13. No. 1 Ramzi
Tsedek ,   Israel   (11.06.05)
I support you and feel for the frustration you must feel. I'm having the same thing sometimes when "official statements" are made supposedly in my name. Good 4 you, brother to speak out like this! More people from both sides should raise their voices instead of letting others take advantage of us.
14. Thank you people
Ramzi Sfeir ,   B./ Palestine   (11.06.05)
It feels good to see that some people on the other side are Peace oriented! All together we can MAKE PEACE!!!! And we can chant " Eveynoo shalom aleykhem" or " We shall Overcome" ..like we did 10 years ago! The voice of peace is the only one that cant be silenced! some of you claimed that I am " Preaching" in my posts.... I am not preaching! I believe every word i say! And my first and Last goal is social Peace! only together we can!
15. kol hakavod Ramzi mBeitLehem
(11.06.05)
If there were more moderate palestinians like you and more moderate jews like some of us then this would all be settled by now or on its way to being settled with no more bloodshed. Stay safe Ramzi Rav-Segen R. Basis Shraga Israel
16. Re#1
Peggi ,   France   (11.07.05)
Very sympathized to your situation.I felt sad that U think in that shallow way. Could U remind me with the # of the UN resolutions that condemned this terrorist state and what percent of them had/have been/will have been implemented. The brave people who are fight for good causes NOT who oppressed other nations...
17. Peggi....i didnt understand your comment
Ramzi Sfeir ,   Bethlehem,Palestine   (11.07.05)
can you please explain ? do i think in a shallow way? well Peggi , Does wanting peace mean that i am shallow ? I am not sympathizing with the " enemy" i'm criticizing my Very own people who sometimes do and say insane things! Its called Political Democracy! I'm WAY more palestinian than you i guess and i have more rights to talk! Enough of cosed eyes! putain ! c'est grave quand meme ! By the way maybe your eyes are too closed, but you didnt see that I am not siding with sharon or anyone! i am justTottally against what these crazy people said! They are not heros in my eyes! I am living with them Day after day, year after year and i know exactly what they are And they certainly are not allowed to talk in my name! I am part of the PEACE CAMP! yes...maybe i'm the only one, but it takes one in order to unite millions! you are shallow! I didnt criticize israel here because the article has nothing to do with israeli politics but many of the readers know very well that i did criticize israel! HARSHLY! but we have to recognize our mistakes too! for your information...i am the grandson of a Refugee...and if someone truely wants the occupation to end, ITS ME! But there is a way to stop it, and it's certainly not violence! There are millions of people in israel that we can dialog with! Unless you are ready to take my place over here and come to fight cause i'm really sorry but i'm not ready to touch a gun! i value my life a little more! and I suggest that you read my post again! YOU WILL SEE LOADS OF IT! I WILL NEVER THINK FOR A SECOND next time i will say NOT IN MY NAME! oh...maybe Sarkozy or Le Pen are talking in your name...You will say NO! I'm saying the same thing! Just as sarkozy and le pen don't represent you, hamas and al aksa don't represent me!
18. So typical
steven ,   france   (11.07.05)
#16 of france,oui vous mlle Peggy,It is so typical of a french person to take this stance.I too am french,and Jewish ,and sometimes I am totally flabergasred at what some of my fellow french citizens have to say ,regarding the Israelo-palestinian situation.The French in general like to give advice to others,but have no idea of the meaning of their words.So now I say to all these French,anti Israel ,take a lesson in from RAMZI,his words should put yours to shame,for he should know what he is talking about non??Another point I would like to point out,is HAS ISRAEL EVER ASKED FOR THE DESTRUCTION OF AN ARAB STATE,?NO NEVER.SO I THINK IT IS QUITE NATURAL FOR THESE MURDERING TERRORIST GROUPES TO SIDE WITH IRAN?IN CALLING FOR ISRAEL'S DESTRUCTION.AND IF THERE WERE MORE PEOPLE LIKE RAMZI,MAYBE WE WOULD NOT BE HEARING SUCH IDIOCIES AS WHAT WE ARE HEARING FROM THE IRANIANS.SO ARABS OF THE YNET,JOIN IN AND USE YOUR VOICE AS RAMZI DID AND SAY LOUD AND CLEAR ,THAT WHAT IRAN SAYS AND WHAT al-aqsa SAYS IS NOT IN YOUR NAME,AND MAY YOUR VOICES BE HEARD UP TO THE GATES OF THE MECCA;
19. What Peggi finds superficial is a chance for peace.
Boaz, ,   Ramat Gan, Israel   (11.07.05)
It is a slim chance; I remember Ramzi remarks from other articles, more Israeli ones, in their content. I did not just disagreed with, I was angry at what he said. But that is what making peace is really about, confronting views and differences that make us angry and mad. Confronting for the purpose of solution. How many of those who preach peace understand that? How many of them care to understand that?
20. PA TV: THEY'LL RULE U.S.UK & WORLD & FINISH OFF EVERY JEW
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (11.07.05)
There can never be peace with the Palestinian Authority terrorist organization, who along with Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and other terrorist organizations, share the international goal of Islamic global conquest. The following is an excerpt from sermon by Sheik Ibrahim Mudeiris, May 13 2005 on Palestinian Authority TV (transcribed by Memri TV monitor): "We have ruled the world before, and by Allah, the day will come when we will rule the entire world again. The day will come when we will rule America. The day will come when we will rule Britain and the entire world - except for the Jews. The Jews will not enjoy a life of tranquility under our rule...The day will come when everything will be relieved of the Jews. The stones and trees will want the Muslims to finish off every Jew." PA PEACE PARTNERS DECLARE THEY WILL FINISH OFF EVERY JEW. Even though the PA declare they plan to rule America and Britain (and the entire world) the U.S. Britain and EU keep on giving billions of U.S. and European TAX DOLLARS to their favorite terrorists who murder Jews.
21. TRAINING TERRORISTS-PEACE AGREEMENTS OF ETERNAL TERROR & WAR
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (11.07.05)
U.S. EU pretends PA are not terrorists In the never-ending religious terror war against Jews, terrorists receive highly specialized training from the CIA and Britain. Every single one of the Palestinian Authority security services are involved in terrorist attacks against Israel. There were no apologies from the U.S. for the many Jewish deaths and great suffering perpetrated by U.S. trained Khaled Abu Nijmeh. There was no financial compensation for Khaled's many Jewish victims. There was no punishment for serial killer of Jews, Khaled. Khaled, and other terrorists were richly rewarded with long vacations in Europe. Below are parts of an article from www.sfgate.com http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/c/a/2005/02/14/MNG50BANBE1.DTL Mideast training program backfires Palestinian security officers schooled by U.S. later used tactics against Israel - Matthew Kalman, Chronicle Foreign Service Monday, February 14, 2005 Bethlehem, West Bank -- In June 1998, somewhere near CIA headquarters in Langley, Va., two rows of men in military fatigues posed for their graduation photo. All of them were officers in Palestinian General Intelligence Service, charged with hunting down terrorists and preventing attacks on Israel. They had just completed a training course, paid for by the U.S. government, in which they learned firearms and counterterrorist tactics. But the graduation photo holds a stark warning for the Bush administration as it gets more involved in Middle East peacemaking. Some of the men in the picture later swapped sides and began using the skills they learned in Virginia against the Israelis. Such training courses, which were suspended with the outbreak of the Palestinian uprising in September 2000, will be an integral part of Washington's aid package for the new government of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas. Standing in the back row, second from the left, is Khaled Abu Nijmeh, from Deheisheh refugee camp in Bethlehem, according to two of his colleagues who are also pictured. By 2001, he had become one of the most-wanted Palestinian militants in the city, suspected of involvement in a string of suicide bombings and shooting attacks against Israelis. In May 2002, he was one of 13 gunmen escorted from the Church of the Nativity siege in Bethlehem, flown to Cyprus and then to exile in Europe. Three of the group, including Abu Nijmeh, were given asylum in Italy. "I am a member of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades and a first sergeant in Palestinian General Intelligence," Abu Nijmeh, now 36, told The Chronicle from his temporary home in Rome. "I personally received a course in antiterrorism and VIP protection. "I was not alone. Many Palestinian security people were trained by the Americans. We hope they will continue helping us." Abu Nijmeh and his 12 comrades will be allowed to return to Bethlehem under the cease-fire agreement reached last week between Israel and the Palestinians. As Israeli commentators had been warning for years, the CIA inadvertently helped train future adversaries -- as it has done in other countries, including the anti-Soviet forces in Afghanistan who ended up as Taliban and al Qaeda militants. "This has proven to be a very risky undertaking," said Israeli political analyst Gerald Steinberg of Bar-Ilan University. "Both the CIA and British efforts to train Palestinians during the Oslo process helped strengthen terrorist capabilities." The training given to hundreds of Palestinian security officials between 1996 and 2000 was sanctioned by a presidential order in 1996 by then-President Bill Clinton, who was deeply involved in peace-making efforts." ©2005 San Francisco Chronicle Islamic terrorism is empowered, and our loyal ally, Israel, on the front lines fighting global jihad, is wickedly betrayed.
