To message #2: How is it sacrilege? The Messiach is but a man or men. To build a structure that commemorates our history is a wonderful thing. It is a visual way for people to understand and learn (conceptualization). Man has the ability to act, and time is precious.

In response to talkback #2, the Messiah has already come and was killed prior to the destruction of the last Temple, just as Daniel predicted in Daniel Chapter 9.

This is a great first step. The Bible says the third temple will be built when our Lord returns, and IT WILL BE!!!

The "lord" is yet to come for the first time so how could "he" be returning?!? Please spare us the goyishe fairytales.

I don't understand why Israel never consider building temple on Temple mount of jerusalem where Jacob / Israel was secured the possession of Israel land forever by Jehovah, and even Jacob built the first altar on Temple Mount in thanking for the bestowal of God. Jerusalem is never to be divided and interfered by foreigners, because God judges for Israel now. So far there is only one wish in God to have a house said onto David on that Temple Mount which is occupied by fugitive foreigners now. For God, any sacrifice is worthy to be confered because Jehvah has secured Israel from all his enemies forever.

One question...Daniel 9:24-26 describes 490 years, that is for the second temple to be built and for the Messiah to show up. I believe everyone would agree with that. The thing is there is a seven year period that is left out, that is in Dan 9:27. Notice that there had been 483 years, and then the messiah would come. Then he would be cut off or be destroyed and then the second temple would be destroyed. Now in 70 ad the second temple was destroyed. There was a person who fit the role of the Messiah. Does this fit the prophecy? I believe the bible is the truth, so I would have to say so, but if you have anything for me please write me. There is already one in Orlando, Florida, which is used as a staging ground for Jesus and his cohorts. What if the Christians want to use this site in K-8?! At this site will there be renewed animal sacrifice? How about a demonstration of the Akedah? How about opening a boxing ring with Jacob and Esav as the principles and David and Goliath as the undercard. How about all Chabadnicks demonstrate the wandering in the desert for 40 years by doing so. How about reviving the rules of Jacob so man can have more than one sexual partner. Brit milah should be once again done with flint rock.

Religion is certainly the business to get into these days. Gobs and gobs of money to be made! What a great scam, considering that the ultimate product behind it all is just a big hazy cloud of piffle.

It is not sacreligious considering the overtone of its purpose which is to inform people of things int he origional were done. God is more than where his temple is built and why, and he will speak through whatever means he is given. So stop your whining, its a good idea.

The Holy Temple was built as a place for reverence, worship and respecting the most holy God. To turn it into a tourist trap is disrepectful of our wonderful Lord. Even Jesus threw the money-makers out of the temple in His day. The temple is to be a place of prayer to the nations - not a tourist site!

Christ has two roles to fulfill: the suffering servant - our atoning sacrifice for sin; and the lion of the tribe of Judah. Part one was completed 2000 years ago, part two is coming very soon.

There is a difference, between the third temple prophesied in the bible and the New Jerusalem coming down from heaven. I shall give scriptures for both. To start off with the third temple(the ones that also lead up to it), dan 9:27, Matthew 24:15, 2nd Thess. 2:3-4, Rev. 11:1-2. This describes the third temple being built by the last three and a half years(which would be the great tribulation). Next New Jerusalem. Isaiah 66:20, heb 12:24, Rev 3:12, Rev 21:2, Rev 21:10. Hopefully without going through all the scriptures this shall help you find out that these are two different events altogether. God Bless

Actually this is the third temple that they are getting ready to fabricate. If you haven't heard in June the Sanhedrin (however you spell it), announced they were going to start fabricating the temple, yet they still need the $ and they still need to know everything about the temple. Alright, the first temple was solomans temple second was Herods (he actually improved on the second temple), the second temple was destroyed just like daniel prophesied (dan 9:24-26), so what this means is that we are approaching the second coming. If you check out Rev. 11:1-2, you'll find out that a temple would be built and that the temple mount would be shared, because the outer courts would be trodden down by gentiles for fourty two months, or in other words three and a half years, this is the great tribulation, if you want me to prove it, write me, I shall do so scripturally. Also 2thess. 2:3-4 I believe shows the antichrist will sit in a rebuilt temple showing himself that he is God, and Matthew 24:15 shows the same thing.
