To see that some people show enthusiasm in front of such horrible situation. There are reported injuries, and maybe some people could have died. I don't care about the retaliation, and how strong it will be. This problem will be dealt by lebanese people who will recieve israeli bombs and missiles. I'm worried for people who have to hide in Miklatim, and who don't feel secure. Hope it will end with minimal damages. Don't be surprised if this is related to Sharon's decision to create a new political party. Terrorists always attack while they feel some weakness from the ennemy's side. Now, the weakness comes from the power vacancy. The only thing they will obtain is the arrival to power of a strong and tough Likud, and more united israeli people.

The expected restrained response of Israel, despite all the booming noises is no accident. The IDF/IAF is being handled by the US administration. The Sharon regime lacks any desire or will to thwart their interference. To be sure, Sharon will talk tough as to there being "no compromise with terror". However, his dog and pony show will always stop short of inflicting major damage on Hizbullah. The fact that Hizbullah has rockets aimed at Israel is not the issue. The IAF can decapitate their leadership if given the green light. In many ways the IDF/IAF behaves like a castrated male due to political machinations. The questions are - why haven't they destroyed Hizbullah, and who is stopping them? The US would surely destroy any aggressor on their borders. Heck, they even bomb (and rightly so) enemies around the world!

You can not blame Israel for this. They made an act of aggression against Israel. We need to wipe out Hzbullah now and please continue retaliating IDF.

Israel always ignites the situation.They have targeted the Hizballah two weeks ago in the light of asscelating accusation against Syria to pull Hizballah into the seen but the guys in Hizballah are far more clever than the traps that Israel tries to fell them in.They are responding according to their own agenda. only once in the history of the State of Israel was the IDF/IAF limited by a US Administration. That occurred in 1991 during the Gulf War. When Israel came under direct attack from Iraq and then U.S. President Mr. Bush (the dad) as Commander-in-Chief of the USA Armed Forces directly ordered the USA Armed Forces not to provide Israel with the "friend or foe" signals and as a result the IDF/IAF was effectively grounded. Today they IDF/IAF isn't grounded it is up and flying -- May the G-D of Israel keep His Mighty Hand over our boys - the pilots and crew of the best little airforce in the whole wide world - as they carry out their mission.
