6. Israel never did ;-)

* Israel has never been a fundamentalist exporter of revolution.
* Israel has never militarily attacked a neighbor that was not already aggressively perpetrating terrorist and/or military attacks against it and threatening to destroy it.
* Israel has never boycotted third parties who do business with Palestinians or Syria or Iran.
* Israel has never threatened to wipe Iran off the face of the map.
* Israel has never used its nuclear weapons, even when Iraq launched ballistic missiles at it, which could have contained chem warheads.
* Israel has never even admitted that it has nukes, much less threatened to use them against Iran or anyone else.
* Israel was never part of the NPT. Nevertheless, Israel has never passed nuclear technology to third parties.
* Israel is not at war with Europe or indeed with anyone who does not attack it.
* Israeli Muslims have the right to vote. They may turn out to be a critical voting bloc next year.
* The IDF has been fighting a war for the last 5 years in which only a few thousand people have died on both sides.
* Israel tries to talk with its enemies and find solutions. Sometimes that doesn't work, but hey, what can you do?
In contrast:
* Iran has exported Islamic revolution; it makes the Arabs nervous.
* Iran has sent the Badr Brigades into Iraq.
* Not noly Ahmadinejad but "moderate" Rafsanjani and many other Iranian leaders have called for Israel to be wiped off the map. And Rafsanjani went as far as to say that Iran could nuke Israel and destroy it, whereas if Israel retaliated with nuclear weapons, most Muslims around the world would survive.
* Iran is threatening to use nuclear weapons for bizarre ideological purposes; see above.
* Iran's president says it is in a military struggle against the West, which includes all of Europe.
* Iranian politicians have said that Iran has a right to have nuclear weapons
* Iran signed the NPT and then abrogated it. Iran has armed terrorists with its technology; what will it do with nukes? Send them to London and LA and Tel Aviv?
* In Iran's last war, millions of people died. True, this was partly due to the moral bankruptcy and evil of Saddam. But the Iranian military figures that losing millions is okay, whereas Israel operates in ways that minimize casualties on both sides.
* Iranian Muslims can't vote for the head of the government (Khamenei) or for the Guardian Council.
* Iran refuses to talk with Israel or even play sports against it, which is so extremist, it's silly. Israel, in contrast talks to those who talk to it; allowed the PA to set up a (hostile) "government" in the territories to begin with; commits to withdraw from Gaza and then does so, despite Syrian-backed mortar fire aimed at keeping Israel in Gaza; and has always allowed the Jordanians (even before the treaty with Jordan) to manage the location of Judaism's #1 holy place.
I'd like to see Iran come up to Israel's standard in ANY of these areas.
