Where the hell are you going to find an actual Jew under, say, 70 years old in LEBANON?!?! If they are going to make a movie in Lebanon that involves a Jewish character, somebody's going to have to play him. I can't imagine Jewish actors of whatever nationality flying into Beirut to star in a movie. This actor is being bigoted and childish saying he doesn't want to play a Jew. On a lighter note (admittedly, a bit of Israeli humor here), if they have a hard time finding someone to play a Jew in a Lebanese movie, they can call up Hizbullah, (who recently has been talking about wanting to kidnap an Israeli) and ask them to kidnap an Israeli for them to act in the movie. Then intense negotiations through a third party in Europe can take place so that the actor/captive can go back home. You know, depending on how big this story is in the Israeli press, something like this is sure to end up as a sketch on Yatzpan.
