The funny thing is those statistics the writer tries to affirm, saying that christians composed 90% of the population in Bethlehem until 1995, and that incorporating the refugee camps disturbed this balance drastically. The refugee camps were not incorporated in the municipality and the proof for that was obvious in the latest local elections when they were not allowed to vote. By the way the percentage of christians was 55% of the total population in Bethlehem in 1967!!! Houses and shops burnt? A lie cannot be bigger. Which houses and which shops? Or is it just a matter of throwing accusations? Building mosques infront of churches? Why should this bother any christian? I am christian and it does not bother me, a church is a house of god, and a mosque is another house of god, better anyway than building a whorehouse infront of the church, and in all cases it is better than destroying the churches and mosques all together which was an Israeli policy exercised by the occupation forces since 1948.
