1. Interesting, true, but for the example.
It is certainly true that quite frequently those that toil the most for a big breakthrough are not the same to reap the fruits of their efforts. Even Moses didn't. But if Netanyahu seems to have really contributed to our economy revival, I don't think Barak is a case in point. After the Oslo accords and the terror that ensued, his failed courageous attempt to reach a final settlement was widely dismissed and reached a very low point in people's opinions during the second intifada. He even had a very personal contribution, in my view, for discrediting, post-factum, the peace-process by systematically refusing to acknowledge the part played by our own right-wingers in the poisoning of the atmosphere during those years. Shortly, it's hard to believe that Barak's peace seeking performance during his premiership have contributed at all to Sharon's change of heart or to some shift in the public opinion in favor of peace based on a significant enough territorial compromise. If at all it delayed the change. Finally, I'm not sure that Netaniahu's and Barak's political carriers are irreversibly doomed and, if that would be the case, there may be more factors to it than those cited here.

2. Where will London go when there is nothing more to give?
If Israel were to withdraw to Tel Aviv, it would still be unacceptable for the Arabs. Nothing short of genocide will bring a cessation of hostilities from them. Why don't we take them at their word?

3. I mostly agree too, unfortunately, there is no partner in PA
I do not believe there will be a partner for peace in this Palestinian generation. They have been educated to hate and kill, and learned lies in school rather than history. Total separation is the best best and the peace fence is the answer.
Where the Israeli government is lacking is forcing the issue enough when it comes to the Arabs. Make them live up to their responsibilities or there are consequences. Make the UN and EU live up to their responsibilities also.
Israel doesnt hold international bodies accountable and needs to.
Start by making the world recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

6. If he wasn't contradicting God
he might be right. But just as over 2000 years ago it was decreed that Israel would return, so it was said that they would occupy the mountains.
Ezekiel 36 for one:
" 7 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I have lifted up mine hand, Surely the heathen that are about you, they shall bear their shame.
8 But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people of Israel; for they are at hand to come."
