The problem are the several million Palestinians we're occupying. Unless we disengage from them ASAP, we're going to end up with a situation where we'll have to give them citizenship and all civil rights one day, which will be a disaster. There's no real choice other than to end the occupation and withdraw to our international borders.

If Israel ensures that Muslim kids -- especially girls -- get strong educations and that they get economic opportunities that equal those of the Jewish population, Israeli Muslims will get what they REALLY want, which is a prosperous and secure future for themselves and their families. As education and opportunity rise, fertility will drop just as it does in all other ethnic groups -- and this will be a very good thing for the Muslim girls, who will no longer be expected to bear child after child until worn out and remain dependent and/or in poverty with those large families. The demographics don't have to be a problem, if Israelis realize that many of the Muslim girls don't like this situation all that much either.

I can't believe that this is no alarm to anyone. We are not talking about a rational group of people here. They dont care if you give them a state or if we leave the territories..they're ultimate goal is to destroy Israel and make it thiers...There is no compromising with them and anyone who thinks so is in BIG trouble. The minimum requirement for citizens of any country, especially anyone who works in government must be loyalty to their country. The fact that Arab Muslim Israelis who are openly genocidal to Jews and support the violent overthrow of Israel are Israeli government Knesset members is alarming. Israel is a Jewish state, or was supposed to be. Anyone who expresses some concern over an increase in the Muslim population is immediately labeled as a RACIST who should be instantly EXECUTED. (How are Moslems a race anyway?) Meanwhile all leftists agree that the haredi birth rate in Israel is a much more severe "problem" than an increase of Moslems.

Nice suggestion you have to put Israeli Arabs in a different country (PA) with disengagement, except maybe you can see now that these numbers indicate that the present path is not going to get there. Do not get tricked or duped by these antics which really do nothing one way or the other positive to deal with the situation, but which just might you feel good instead.
