31. Steiner: That's What Some Said About The German Nazi Party

You never learn, do you? Don't let cold hard reality get in the way.
32. so does that mean Hamas will liberate Jordanian Palestine?
David Landman ,   Natick, USA   (01.26.06)
Or it is just another Arab Nazi party trying to ethnically cleanse Israel. Personally, I couldnt care less between Arab Nazis like Hamas or corrupt Holocaust deniers like Abbas and Fatah. Palestinians, at least their politicians dont want peace. Finish the peace fence and it will make a defacto peace. If the Palestinians continue to attack, wipe out the villages where the attacks come from. Leave no buildings or trees standing, but warn the people so they can move back to their capital of Amman. Afterall, Israel is a thousand times more humane that the terrorists launching these crimes against humanity. If they prefer the route of peace, Israel is all for it and can wait decades for it or longer since its not going away ever again.

36. #27 - Dan
Shai ,   USA   (01.26.06)
Dan, you are obviously showing your ignorance in your post. There is a difference between deliberately blowing children up while they are eating or riding a bus and people being killed who are in the line of fire as Israel pursues terrorists. There is terrorism and there is a reaction to terrorism. A famous lady once said if the Arabs put down their weapons there would be peace and if Israel put down its weapons there would be no Israel. You know this is true. The Arabs would love for Israel to be destroyed - whether they say it outright or not. And there is no occupation. The war in 1967 was initiated by the Egyptians when they closed the Straits of Tiran to Israeli shipping - a declaration of war. Don't believe me? Look it yourself in any reliable history book. By the way, "I" didn't invade any land. If anything, it was Arabs who invaded the land after Jewish pioneers came and cultivated the land and created economic opportunities. Why would the UN declare that after Israel won the Arab-initiated War in 1948 that any Arab who lived in British Mandate Palestine since 1946 be a refugee? So you only have to live somewhere for 2 years to be a refugee? This shows that the large majority of Arabs living there at the time were recent migrants. Maybe the 1 million Jews of Arab countries can be fully compensated for their persecution and expulsion and can return to their millenia-old communities in Iran, Yemen, Iraq, Syria, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, and Morocco? There you go showing the double standard against Jews again - Jews can be expelled from their countries just for being Jews but rehabilitate their lives in Israel and the world forgets about them. However Arabs create their own refugee problem by hoping with glee that Arab countries would defeat Israel so they can take the spoils and when they lose , they cry and do nothing to create a better situation themselves but wreak havoc on others. Do some homework before you talkback, Dan.
37. Choice and responsibility
Rick ,   USA   (01.27.06)
Germany elected Adolph Hitler in the early thirties. Germany paid the price for having elected him. Palestinians elected hamas in the early 2000's, The Palestinians will be responsible as a people now for this choice. Should this choice bring havoc upon them , please do not use that old canard of collective punishment. You broke it you own it ...all of the Palestinians.

39. Best possible result!
Ram ,   London   (01.26.06)
No longer can the PA hide behind the backers of Abbas in excusing murderous Hamas's actions. With this obstacle out of the way Hamas has no buffer, as the PA, now under Hamas, will be directly responsible for the Palestinians actions. This is a dream come true for Israel. Without the buffer a reaction from Israel would be entirely legitimate. Hamas is now fully exposed. My guess is; it will probably carry on with the rhetoric but will be very careful not to back this with action

I'm thrilled. Now everyone knows who the Palestinians really are! And we can take off the kid gloves! Yay!

Dan's not ignorant. He has an AGENDA. And nothing will dissuade him from sticking to it. Your writing is so good, informative and respectful. It is, however, wasted on people like Dan.
42. Appeasement Never Works
Victor Tatum ,   USA   (10.08.07)
I don't understand why Israel turned Gaza over to the PA in the first place. These religious fanatics that live only to see Israel's destruction are unreasonable a wicked men. They are the very definition of evil and to give them anything Israel will pay a hefty price. Israel gave them Gaza which now has endangered the surrounding area. A terrorist nation will take all you give but will give nothing in return. Appeasing them is just an ill fated decision because it works to their ultimate goal of Israel's destruction even if it comes bit by bit.
