mr carter should get his facts straight: the palestinians are suffering under PLO occupation, not israeli. for 30 years, the palestinians lived under israeli occupation, without the hatred and violence of the PLO, and had a decent economy. it is only since the imposition of the PLO, by the arab league and other outsiders, has their economy been destroyed and their entire lives (and the lives of their children) been sacrificed for the "intifada". if they were still under israeli occupation, the terrorists would be sitting in tunisia, instead of ramallah. it is unfortunate that mr carter lends his voice to the palestinian narrative of untruth and self-deception.
