of why can't israeli hoteliers provide demi-pension for their guests like most other European destinations do? eating out is too uncertain & expensive in Israel and I find the deals on offer too expensive. Try much harder!!

You must be kidding... The prices for food here are MUCH better compared to euro... in euro everything is expensive, if you live by a french salary you could live like a king here.
