I don't think Iran will do anything if military action is taken against them. All big words from a small man like Ahmadinejad. If it does come dwon to it and we have to strike at Iran, I think the people tat live there will help us rom the inside. Afterall, half of iranian's hate the leadership there and want to change the country. I am very sure though, that Israel and the US together can destry to lunatics in charge there.

Iran is the only country with a desire for or in possession of nuclear weapons that has ever threatened genocide. In addition, a nuclear armed Iran could hold the world hostage for oil, threaten the Saudi oil fields, and overthrow regimes that are western friendly such as Jordan. If Saddam Hussein had nuclear weapons at the time of his invasion of Kuwait, there would have been no operation Desert Storm and as bad as Saddam is, he is a choir boy next to the insane rulers of Iran. Launching a military strike against Iran (if diplomacy fails) is indeed dangerous. But it is not as dangerous as allowing this evil country build nuclear weapons.

If action is takan against Iran, it must be with the understanding that Russia and ALL the Arab Islamic States will come to Irans aide. The Iranian leader is doing ALL that he can to PROVOKE this hostility. He may already have NUCLEAR weapons. I'm certain that our government / military has their EYE'S WIDE OPEN. I don't think our government will allow the Iranian Oil Exchange to be created and switch the revenues from US $$$ to EUROS.

Any war against Iran would mean misery for the rest of Middle East as well as the europeans and Americans for decades. It would make Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan look like long lost picnics.
