I think if there is expressed intention to break the law it is someone's responsibility to make sure the law isn't broken. There is a reason why people can only be buried in certain places. Just because the prime minister held the law in contempt and buried his wife illegally doesn't mean that he should also be buried illegally. It doesn't make sense to wait until after he is dead to make this protest, it would be impossible to be heard at that time. The court would never stop a state funeral just because of small illegalities. They could however instruct the family not to do an illegal act before they announce it to the world.

Not everyone is obsessed with Sharon's "recovery". Let us face facts here - Sharon's reign as a PM has been an unmitigated disaster for Israel's security.
