Every once in a long while an idea so stunningly stupid and so tragically bereft of any logic bubbles it's way up from the cesspool of political idioacy. Olmert/Kadima et al has a winner here. Sans ANY military or political benefit and bound to widen the gap between Jews in their land, this piece of excremental tomfoolery has the power to be maybe the stupidest idea in several ages. Now we know Olmert is not any kind of a thinker, and certainly no military tactician or strategist; so who is breathing such moronic crap into his shell like ear 'ole? The burning question of the moment is what if any benefit comes from such stupidity? Fixed and declared borders? Where is the benefit to the gerrymandered tradgedy outlined here?

How can such delusional people be allowed to run a country that is fighting for its survival? "We have to give up the Land in the hopes that the enemy who has sworn to destroy might change its mind and give us peace". Land for Nothing. Idiots for Leaders. Today's Israel.

That's YOUR Dichter. I guess Israelis have the right to destroy themselves. However, I am getting a bit pissed at the possibility that nuclear weapons will end up being used by terrorists, or by Israelis in response to terrorists if Israel faces an existential crisis.

The refugees from Gush Katif are still unemployed and living in temporary housing that is beginning to look like permanent housing. So how many more refugees does Avi Dichter intend to have? Shimon Peres hinted that the United States was going to pay to re-settle the refugees from Gush Katif. So far, I have not heard about an appropriation from the United States Congress to move Jews around from one place to another.
