2. Jews For Weed
Tommy Chong ,   Bongville   (03.27.06)
Some good "ganja" in the Israelis' daily diet might help them to chill out and make them less bellicose.
3. Belgium?
Jeffrey ,   Amsterdam, Holland   (03.27.06)
You probably mean The Netherlands instead!
4. marijuana
jF ,   nashville   (03.27.06)
I think it is stupid to have laws against marijuana. It is a waste of time and resources to try and stop something kids are going to do regardless of the law. I think smoking anything is dumb but don't want the police and courts tied up trying to deal with a losing battle. Actually it is a sort of racket in that Depts get Federal funds to combat it so it is in their interest to keep this "war on drugs" running forever....with your tax dollars. If we taxed the marijuana-crowd instead then we could reverse the flow of money into a better fund.
5. Israel and weed
DR ,   Florida, USA   (03.27.06)
I hope Israelis are smarter than Americans in this matter. The US gov't wastes millions of dollars trying to fight the drug war, and they are losing badly. There are thousands of people in jails b/c of this and it seems crazy that a person can rape a child and get less time than a weed smoker/seller. Legalize it and tax it just like cigarettes.
6. I wonder why?
jason white ,   afula,israel   (03.27.06)
I wonder why he was discharged from the police? All the problems of security, education, poverty, ect. and the only thing that will make him vote is pot? Is this even worthy of an article?
7. Hey man,...you gonna eat that cookie?
Yoel Ariel ,   USA   (03.28.06)
However Adon Guttman was unable to explain why. Or maybe he was, but no one understood him because he was stuffing his face with chocolate chip cookies based on a terminal case of the munchies.
8. Legalize it, tax it, use the money against hard drugs.
Bunnie Meyer ,   Santa Monica, CA   (03.28.06)
9. he retired from the police without any problem
gugi ,   tel aviv   (03.29.06)
Just to publish a small add to his job not more...
10. legalize hard drugs too
Ragnar ,   New York, NY   (03.29.06)
Drugs are an individual choice. No drug is worse than the other save for its effect on the body, an individual choice. A few drugs get bad press - like the raging lunatic on PCP who is shot by police but never falls down - but these stories always turn out to be myths. Drug legalization would end much violent crime and almost all organized crime. Don't wuss out. Legalize them all.
11. legalization of weed
tony ,   brokenarrow oklahoma   (04.26.06)
i think ur right marijuana should be legalized. people put the drug or so called drug down cuz it got a bad rep.but some people dont know the effects of it. like it helps gte rid of pain.people should pay more att. to there surroundings like guns or something cuz thats wats really killin america
