1. What a load of BS
The media could have played a real role in this election campaign and acted as a representative of the people and not of their friends. How many times did the media choose to push Kadima forward and pass over serious issues both regarding the charges of corruption of Olmert, HaNegbi, Ruchama Avraham et. al. Another question the media should have asked was in regards to Amir Peretz's plan to raise the minimum wage, it would have cost the government a great deal in increases of public wages that were indexed to the minimum wage. Not a minor detail at all. The failing is not the candidates, but of the media.

2. Israel does not have to consult anyone
else to have a fair economic system, like in Switzerland or Netherlands. All she has to do is cut those high taxes for military spending and business, increase the minimum wage, and Israel will be on it's way to a new beginning. Foreign businesses should be given special tax incentives for investing, and especially those that are Jewish. A higher minimum wage will certainly encourage Aliyah, and attract many skilled workers. And with a peace deal with the Palestinians, the Israeli economy should really take off.

3. Atilla Won't Wait Long For Answers
Mr. Somfalvi will find the answers to his questions soon enough. But he'll have to be wearing his helmet and flak jacket if he hopes to survive them.

4. #'s 2 and 3
Richard, one problem: a peace deal with the who? Ain’t gonna happen. What will it take for people like you to understand that small (LOL) detail?
Dan, your post made me ROFL. I needed that after Richard’s …
Now, I hope Israelis are voting in such a way as to reveal all the polls to have been wrong … it happens, yanno.

5. No more!
With their stupid ideas of social programs costing tens of billions of shekels. I do not want to pay for the poor. I do not want to pay for more penniless immigrants. I work seven day a week all year long including holidays.I can barely make ends meet on my salary. The labor laws are not enforced due to the fact the govt. works with the private contractors and other business people at the expense of the workers. I do not want to pay for people who sit at home and do nothing. Or people who are unemployed and work off the books.
So if labor wants to pay for this let them sell off their assets, even personal assets.
kadima wants us to pay for the cowardly ethnic cleansing of Jews from the territories, labor wants us to pay for social programs,Israel beitanu wants us to pay for new immigrants{even unkosher ones},the pensioners party wants us to pay for increasing their pensions, ect. My question is what will be left for us?
