2. Social issues as well
Avraham ,   Netivot   (03.31.06)
What we need is a strong government which addresses social & security issues. Kadima can not deliver this, Olmert is not the man for the job.
3. Close the country til you get what you want.

4. #2 is right
Daniel van Dalen ,   Jerusalem   (03.31.06)
You're right, Avraham. I think Peretz would be better. The socio-economic policy is now the most important thing, and Kadima seems to be unable to decide whether it is a right-wing or left-wing party. Labor offers much more stability. I doubt whether Olmert would keep up for 4 years. We need Peretz to restore the horrible damage Netanyahu did. Though Eli Yishai would be fine also, but that wouldn't be very realistic.

Just shout as loud as you know how to " I will close the country down until I become prime minister ". To hell with democracy, demagoguery works better.
7. Keep the Right-Wing & Fundementalists Out
Gary24 ,   London   (03.31.06)
I think it is important for Olmert and Peretz to have a good relationship to keep the extremists from the Fascist Camp (Lieberman) and the Religious Camp (Shas & UTJ) out.
8. I agree with Avraham and Daniel

It is fundamental to take very good care of economics and social aspects, along with security,of course. Israel must get rid of this shameful poverty, and get rid of its unemployment, and pay attention in the social gap that is ocurring. Israelis,as a whole, can never be happy with such affronting social differences. It is my opinion.
