Anyways, lasted 8 years, 1.5 million men died fighting. America funded, financed, and directed Saddam in this war to defeat the Islamist Iran. America gave him chemicals to use against the Iranians, which he did, chemically attacked thousands of Iranians who died. And the Americans did not say a word. Saddam then used chemicals on his own people. America stayed silent. Until several years later of course, when the time was right for them.
