'Why are Saudis still boycotting Israel?'     Yitzhak Benhorin
1. Arab world's tight grip on development
Once again we see the Arab leadership instilling intolerance and backwardness instead or caring for the interests of their people. Free trade and open markets have proven to bring countries from poverty to top notch contenders. Not that Saudi Arabia's government lacks money, only their people do. Complying with the WTO would only improve their society, but why would they want to do that when they can repress them? After all, trade leads to money, money leads to education, and education leads to freedom.
Josh ,   Jerusalem   (04.06.06)
2. "Urging" compliance is not enough
Saudi Arabia needs to be reminded that they can't obtain the benefits of membership while picking and choosing which of their obligations will be adhered to. They need to be put on notice that failure to carry out its WTO obligations will result in a complaint filing outlining their non-compliance, making them subject to all applicable penalties, including suspension or expulsion from the WTO.

3. Why the hate us
Well, American is being defeated in Iraq, they don't want to deal with Democratic elected government in Palestin, and they left the occupied people to die from the Israeli agression and occupation, they wanted the saudis to accept the racest country like Israel and helped her in their stealing the land of other people, and after that the American asked why they hate us?!
Questions ,   Washington DC   (04.06.06)
4. Why?
Can you say Jew hatred? The Saudis and their extremist interpretation of the Quran has led to terrorism throughout the world - including the US. They are the birth place of bin laden and al qaeda; they fund hamass homicide bombers; and they finance the NOI in the US as it prepares its own assaults on "White Christian Amerika" Is the answer really all that difficult?

5. never recognize an occupation
Israel need to show some respect to the palestinians ,arabs, and the muslims ... they need to understand that they need to take the first step .. get out of our land ,then will talk ..... America can't help you ...at all.

Oh dear Josh ! You miss the whole point of being a middle east potentate. Let the masses have money and as you say this will lead to education and then freedom. Freedom ! Oh my goodness, what a terrible thought, when the masses have freedom, no kings, no princes, no power, no potentate and no whipping off heads when you feel like it. I actually heard the Crown Prince Turki once say " democracy and Islam are incompatible ". This is only because he and his family say so for the herein stated reason.

7. I AM NOT HOLDING MY BREATH.
The Saudi connection with US President's is almost unbreakable. Father Bush has close ties with the Fraudi Royals and his son follows right in those foot steps. Show you how the White House eats out of the hands of those vermom: (Bush chops Embassy ACT.....prince Saud gloats. ) Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia, praised the decision of US President George W. Bush to once again delay the implementation of the decision of the US government to move its embassy to Jerusalem. "The embassy's movement is a recognition of Israeli fait accompli which is not wanted by anyone. Consequently, returning the U.S. policy to the previous position is welcomed," Al-Faisal to the Saudi news agency. http://israelnationalnews.com/news.php3?id=84135 Saudi Foreign Minister Praises US Delay of Jerusalem Embassy Move The fact the US Congress voted unanimously calling on Bush to do what he should be doing in this post 9-11era is quite telling. Beyond that it is time our leaders walked the talk. Blowing toothless hot air behind smoke and mirrors is nauseating.

To all people living in the USA complaining about the Israeli "occupation" of Palestine. It is so hypocritical when the Americas are lands that are "occupied". The Native people's of the Americas don't seem to get the world backing that the Palestinians seem to get, yet their land was taken from them. It just seems cooler to the people of the left in the USA to bitch about the Jews occupying Palestine, all the while they grow fat on the fruit of the occupied land they posses.

9. hajj bush
I hope people do not really expect hajj bush to go against his saudi masters. If he looked out for the U.S. like he does for the saudis and other arabs it would do wonders for the states. He has their interests put first. He sells them weapons and weapon systems that the U.S. military does not have. Then he refuses to let us sell to the chinese. He arms our enemies and says he is our friend. How many terrorists ate a meal that they received with U.S. aid before they left for their murder missions?

"How many of those fight-to-the-Israeli-soldier armchair Zionists VOTED for Bush...?"

11. Fares & occupation- oh really?
Never? Oh really? - So why did the entire arab world recognize Egyptian annexation of Gaza and Jordanian anneaxation of the West bank between 1947-1967? It was only when Israel took back its ancestral land from those tow tyrannical regimes that all of a sudden, the Islamic world woke up and realized an "occupation" of the "palestinian people" occured...
Gene ,   Israel   (04.06.06)
12. #5 a touch of hypocrisy hmm?
Saudi never had any trouble trading with the Soviet Union, Russia, China, India, the UK, the US, the Philippines or any other country. All of these countries "occupy" or occupied territory claimed by some groups of Muslims. Saudi never had trouble talking to Sudan, Syria, Iran or Iraq despite their mass murder of of 100000s and 10000s Muslims (Israel has never done that). Be careful; your hypocrisy is showing again. ;-)

13. It's easier to stir up hatred than live with others
It's easier to stir up hatred, finance terrorists, boycott Israel and so on than it is to build a free country free of corruption and with free speech. Saudi thrives on this kind of hatred and bigotry. How many people reading this would be allowed into Saudi? Raise your hand. Okay, now how many of that small % would be allowed to publicly practice their religion in Saudi? Raise your hand. Not all Muslims have so little faith in their religion that they have to forbid the practice of any other religion for fear that it might be more tempting -- but the Saudi Wahabi dictatorship does. This is why Saudi still boycotts Israel.

#3... STOLE their land??? Racist country like Israel??? You are very clearly uneducated, and uninformed...Read REAL history and get yourself an education (If you've read anything at all). Go find out how many Jews are in any Arab government... Go visit Saudi Arabia with a Christian bible and see what happens to you. I spent many times there. You've just shown your incredible ignorance. #5... How many "first steps" does Israel need to take??? You need to read your history too. Look back at recent events...The handing over of Gaza to the Palis... Did you happen to read their first response? It wasn't in their hands even a full day and they started firing rockets into Israel. Your ignorance sickens me. I can't believe you're even Americans. Our education system isn't the best, but it's not quite that bad.

17. Arab promises
If the world hasn't realized it Arab promises mean nothing. Look at Israel; the Arabs have yet to keep a single promise that they have made, in response to all of Israel’s concessions
Mark ,   Cleveland Ohio   (04.06.06)
18. #5
Respect is not due, it is gained. The Palestinians, Arabs and Muslims do not deserve any respect as long as they behave like animals who never honor any promise and remain obsessed with killing non-Muslims, especially Jews. They will be treated with respect when they behave like responsible adults, not stupid, primitive savages.
JJ ,   San Diego   (04.06.06)
19. Bush, Saudis and Muslims
Bush and the Saudis are buddies. The Saudi king knows things have to change in Islam, that Islam needs to bring itself out of seventh century barbarism and intolerance, but he can only go slowly with reform, otherwise all the intolerant islamist will start killing more inoccent women and children. Bush knows the Saudi king is trying to change things, so he goes light on him. Is that the right way to do things? I don't know but I would not give the Saudi's so much slack. I would be telling the muslims they had better learn to respect the rights of all men to worship as they wish. Once they can do that then everybody can do business and we can all get rich. I think though the muslims are not smart enough to do that, I think they will want to fight because they are stupid and so we will be forced to kill them. Too bad because it will be a slaughter, look how the USA crushed the best muslim warriors in Iraq, in Falluja and everywhere. No muslim warrior can stand up to a USA soldier and win. Now in Iraq muslims do not fight the Americans, they just blow up other muslims.

Or better yet, Israel should file a complaint against Saudi Arabia and head to a WTO tribunal.

22. saudia
every body knowes about the conection and chubiness netween the bush family and the saudies. Oil and money dictates US policy and bush is at the top of it. Look for the price we pay at the pump and what it dose to the working class that needs to drive a car to work. no body at the top gives a shit but wait when the election will come for a short time it's going to change.

23. occupation
israel ,is stolen palestinian land...its that simple ..if you cant understand this , read up on history ....Palestine always welcomed others to live among them......unfortunately some people thought it would be better to steal it by force , and then call it Israel. The Palestinians want peace and thier land back.
a ,   usa   (04.07.06)
24. Arabs are the occupiers, not Jews
There has never been a country called "Palestine," and "Palestinians" are not a true nation in any sense of the word. It is the Arabs that occupy Jewish native lands; Jews are just being too stupid to not kick them out to their own countries of Jordan, Egypt, and Syria.
Antonio ,   Haifa, Israel   (04.07.06)
25. #23 there is no stolen land dude...
my gradfather came back to israel from the holocaust to his parents who already lived in israel. he told me the whole story. my gradfather then joined the jewish underground movement because the arabs who lived there didn't want to have jews in the government and didn't want them in "higher" positions, they didn't let them live where the arabs lived, only outside the city. dude, after 6mio murdered jews, we realy don't care about arabs living in our land. jews lived in this land before there was the word 'islam'. so, this underground movement assassinated important arab people from the government and then built a small army and fought against the arabs. in the same time they told all the arabs living there that they have 24 hours to pack everything and leave or they will be killed. that's it, stupid kid, you can believe in what you want and what suits you best, but you never can deny the truth ;-) you will understand within 10 years, justice will happen on every living soul.

26. "Israel Fake Drug Superpower"
How do you have the nerve to so blatently unproffesional as to trumpet the above headline in a link on fake drugs, and in the same article you are linking to, states: "Data presented in the conference show that India, China and the Palestinian Authority are the world’s leading manufacturers of fake drugs, some of which reach Israel, where drugs are repacked and shipped to other countries." It is bad enough with the entire world looking to pin whatever evil thay possible could on the Jewish State, but it is truly unfortunate (and sadly true to form) to see self hating Jews such as yourself, overstating to the point of mis-stating a particular case to the detriment of your own countries image and reputation. You ought to be ashamed of yourselves.
