3. Here we go again!
David   (04.08.06)
Wow Bush will take on Iran and save the world from tyranny. Well I for one am all for it!!!! BTW Iran just held a massive naval exercise and threatened to close the straights in the gulf closing off all oil supplies to the rest of the world. Iran must be stopped fast!!
4. Shouldn't Clerk shut up ? What is He smoking ?
Gabrielle Goldwater ,   Geneva Switzerland   (04.08.06)
5. Bulls**t
Sammy Sneer   (04.08.06)
Seymour Hersh has no credibility. He's no different than Judith Miller - a propaganda conduit for the Bush administration. Bush wouldn't dare use nuclear or any other type of weapons against iran. China and Russia wouldn't like that one bit.
6. l support bush lf he wants l can destroy lran
(04.08.06)
bush you are our father l can be a martyr for usa and f-ck lran :)
7. Hersh Has No Credibility
Jerry ,   NYC, USA   (04.08.06)
He has written so many articles that turned out to be hot air with no substance. The U.S. can take down the Iran nuke program without using nukes. The Natanz facility will be destroyed using conventional bunker busters.
8. USA we love you thank you very much
Israeli ,   Israel   (04.08.06)
9. bullshit,daydreaming
jurgen ,   iran   (04.08.06)
clerk is right. what are they smoking?
10. YES YES YES !!! IRAN IS A MONSTER
(04.08.06)
11. Nuclear Srike on Iran
Fidel ,   Australia   (04.08.06)
Clearly Bush is a madman .Even if it is true so what if Iran gets a few Nukes. Given the History of US aggression against IRAN over 50 years (remember Mossadegh?) why wouldn't IRAN seek a nuclear deterrent. .China got Nukes and the sky didn't fall in .. .the small risk is that Russia will back Iran if US attacks and then God help us . LEAVE IRAN ALONE
12. Fidel, Australia: You are in the wrong place -Go to Iran
Gabrielle Goldwater ,   Geneva Switzerland   (04.08.06)
but stop dreaming - OK - one of these nights you may wake up and Iran glows in the night. And that's a very possible scenario the thought of all is only - we are more concerned than you so called Fidels - about humans that will suffer - otherwise - I promise you - You would have been History already Now I am also a Fidel - Fidel to my Jewish Roots and Fidel to western Civilization - which You Jihadist cannot destroy - keep on dreaming on your sofa seat
13. I don't believe it...
Raymond ,   Norway   (04.08.06)
When are the americans gonna see, that what their president is doing is gonna lead to the destruction of their own country.... Do they really believe that by starting bombing campains in ANOTHER middleeast country, they will gain the support of the world?! I have to agree... what the H**L are they smoking in the white house?!!! If anyone's gonna start world war three in the next few years, it's gonna be Bush... and THAT's gonna be his legacy... :(
14. What a bunch of horsesh*t
Antonio ,   Haifa   (04.08.06)
Seymor Hersh is well known for fabricating assorted nonsense. This is never gonna happen. There are other ways to halt Iran's nuclear programs, which are just as feasable, and far more PC. Like sabotage.
15. The Worst scenario
observer   (04.08.06)
If they do this mistake, I beleive this gonna drag this country into the hell.
16. Russia will NEVER back Iran
Yariv ,   Tel Aviv   (04.08.06)
Russia will support the Nuclea attack on Iran. Russians hate Muslems and want the oil price to go up. Russian people love US now more than they love US the last 60 years, and now the Russian Government wouldn't go against the Russian people who always love US (except when Clinton attacked Serbia and was against Russian policy in Chechen terror).
17. Too much noise is not good
Caroline ,   Israel   (04.08.06)
Shouldn't such an information be kept in secret? Whoever is divulging similar news must be brought to court either for slander or treachery,
18. Perhaps the only sensible thing Bush has thought ever!
Xochitl ,   Texcoco, Mexico   (04.08.06)
19. WW III
Marcel ,   Florida   (04.08.06)
Russia & China won't sit by on this one. Iran has warned many times that they would not wait to be attacked and would attack first.. LOOSE LIPS SINK SHIPS ! There is too much talk about what Bush is going to do to iran. This kind of stuff used to be top secret . It looks like the empire is in for another Pearl Harbor and Israel is going to be right in the middle of it. When it begins Israel will have to nuteralize the Palestinian threat first ,then Iran ,and then Syria ,and then Cairo Keep you powder dry and aim straight .
20. inshallah!
some1 ,   israel   (04.08.06)
21. If only.
Bill Pearlman ,   Chicago, USA   (04.08.06)
I only hope we do this. Iran is the existenial threat of our time and only the United States has the strength and the vision to see this through. One problem though, Seymour Hersh is such an inveterate liar its hard to give this any credibility.
22. #13
jessie ,   norway   (04.08.06)
Mr.Bush is NOT A WARMONGER! the leaders who are, they behave like Mamud Amedinejad. Learn something about him before you make your mind up. what have he done since he came to power ? what are his priority regarding Israel and The Middle East? why doesn't he collaborate with IAEA? ...and the list of questions are longer... i do belive the legacy of President Bush will be something about a leader who tryed to fight for freedom and peace.but the world let him down. i heard him once on CNN,he said: "There shoul'd be peace in The House of Abraham" this words "talk to me"
23. 13Raymond, Norway: They don't sit in a corner and wait
Gabrielle Goldwater ,   Geneva Switzerland   (04.08.06)
for the destruction as You do. When the going gets tough - you are the first ones who will sit there crying for help to the USA when Iran is ready to nuke Europe - and don't believe you in that little European corner will be avoided . Remember your Nazi times - if it was not then for the US - you would be speaking German and shout Heil Even the EU is seriously thinking of possible attacks This was just some unfortunate Old Defense Minsiter from the past who should have known better to shut up and not throw his mouth off But plans are always ready and not just 1 - it is always plan A -B - C and being updated constantly
24. 22 jessie, norway - May be you can educate your fellow
Gabrielle Goldwater ,   Geneva Switzerland   (04.08.06)
Norwegian Raymond ..... doesn't sound very Norwegian that name
25. 13 Raymond,Norway: Not a very Norwegian Name - how come ?
Gabrielle Goldwater ,   Geneva Switzerland   (04.08.06)
26. STRIKE
GEORGE SAMI   (04.08.06)
ALWAYS THEY SAID YOU ARE MORON , BUT NOW YOU ARE THE MAN , BY ATTACKING IRAN , YOU BECOME THE MOST CLEVER MAN OVER THE EARTH, FOR ME IF YOU START THE NEW WAR , YOU MY GOD….??????
27. GASOLINE ON THE FIRE CAN BURN THE THROWER
Arik Silverman ,   Milwaukee USA   (04.08.06)
An atomic attack on Iran would be an extremely dangerous move. Remember that the person who throws gasoline on a fire sometimes is burned by the flash back. Bush, crazed by his relibious beliefs, as is Tony Blair of Britain, just might do this thing, but in the long run, Israel will suffer.
28. wrong reason, bad idea, stupid mistake
A. NI ,   Toronto, Canada   (04.08.06)
wrong reason: "Natanz, which is no longer under I.A.E.A. safeguards" (IAEA inspectors will visit Natanz next week.) bad idea: "bunker-busting nuclear bombs" (to use nuclear bombs against a country whose nuclear program has not yet been proven to be weapons program) stupid mistake: "will humiliate the religious leadership and lead the public to rise up and overthrow the government.” (it is absolutely the other way around, it will unite the iranians)
29. to the Bushites among us -four questions
b katznelson   (04.08.06)
Why would this adventure be different than any other Bush adventure? a regime change strategy has been so wonderfully successful in Iraq, so why not have a phase two in Iran? (not!) and if the american first strike is not total who do you think will bear the brunt of the Islamic retaliation? And does anyone believe that the Bush administration has the competence or political will or public support to see this foolhardy tactic to a desireable strategic conclusion? In all other fiasco's of US government policy we Jews rush to lead with our applause. In this case can we show some sanity if only out of self-interest? Our forefathers where idol worshippers... (s don't think we have such great yichos)
30. bombing iran
USA   (04.08.06)
Natanz site is under the I.A.E.A. safeguards.
