This whole "distances" court case would be tossed out without comment in a real democracy, as the court would not meddle with Executive prerogatives. A court that did meddle would risk the legislature restricting its areas of jurisdiction.

Israel is controlling all movement of goods to/from Gaza. A sovereign state is a country which is recognized as so by the UN and the Palestinians have refused this recognition three times.
