As far as I know, Arafat at Camp David offered peace in return for the territories occupied by Israel in 1967, with the possibility of land swaps - and Israel rejected this offer! And in 2002 the whole Arab League offered the same (Beirut plan) - this would be the end of conflict not only between Israel and Palestinians but also between Israel and the Arab world. Israel again didn't miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity and rejected the offer! And Israel kept missing opportunities by repeatedly electing Sharon and beaming Hamas up to the heights of unprecedented popularity.

What 22%of historic homeland? What are you talking about. When Britain gave Transjordan to the Arabs they gave 75% of the Jewish homeland to the Arab peoples. Actually only about 22% remained.
