thats not the way to solve it , instead of spending all that money to build a seperation wall , you can invest it in adding police presence there and mabee find an alternetive for the kids there to do instead of spending there time around drugs ......

"Fence in these animals" Fences have two sides. Fencing in is, therefore, a relative concept. In other words: also you are going to be fenced in by your fence. Independently of whether you want it or not. As far as "animals" are concerned: it so happens that dehumanizing anyone dehumanizes you, makes you a lesser person.

What about the outrage of the police beating and running over Jews with horses?!

I would like to see the same thing happen here in the United States. Partition the country with walls and electric fences according to ethnic and socio-economic background now! Blacks over here, Mexicans over there, with elevated bypass roads protected by bullet-proof glass to connect the Anglo areas. Simply brilliant! You Israelis are blazing a trail into the 21st century. A true Light unto the Nations...

Being a minority myself here in the good ole USA, I would never advocate a system of apartheid where we fence off the 'good' neighborhoods from the 'bad'. I am watching the film "Route 181", as part of research for a film about the relationship between the return of property in Germany and Palestine-Israel, and so I wanted to know more about Lod. I just want you, whoever you are out there, to know that it is horrifying and unbelievable, day by day, to find out more about the way in which the Israelis have gained control of much of the former Palestine and the way they treat the Arabs. I simply cannot understand it at all and there is no explanation good enough. This is beyond all boundaries of human moral conscience and nothing can justify it. It is madness.
