The focus for this latest terrorist tactic intersects with the heart of the conflict. It concerns IMAGE and BEARING. Some people are trying to perpetuate this Holy War. Some are trying to put an end to it. Removing the photographic images of diplomats will secure them from possible targeting but this measure is not enough to protect them completely. We have to develop ways of bearing down upon our enemies’ imagination of the world they think they are living in. It may not be possible to change some psychopathic minds but we can focus on the minds of their supporters. We need to broaden and widen our focus on the definition of universal human rights. If we leave all the perspectives society holds to random thought alone it will mean civilization is dominated by the imagery projected by commercial artists and marketing companies. That is why those psychopathic murderers chose the World Trade Centre as their prime target. Since wars and antitheses begin in the mind it is in the mind that the imagination for peace and harmony must be constructed. Schools are institutions where basic awareness sessions into the articles of universal human rights can be articulated for children but the Mass Media hold the adult world’s imagination. Should we leave our strategy at the removal of the photographic images of our diplomats from public view? Or should we also move forward on the ideographic image of ourselves as ethically and morally more perceptible to the untutored imagination! Where is victory? Where is its definition and focus!

Israeli embassies have to hide their diplomats for their safety, when it is the sovereign obligation of the host countries to protect the diplomats. This just shows how far the sovereignty of countries has been compomised by allowing Muslims into their midst.
