ynet really should be more professional in there reporting, it makes me sick ,and just inspires me enormously as a religiuos person who loves israel to make aliya a.s.a.p with my familly, just to outnumber airheads like them.

Zionist doesn't having anything to do with loving Israel. Zionism is the belief that there should be a Jewish run government in the land of Israel. It is a conection to the government (Medinat Israel) not the land.

No. 12 you do not live in Jerusalem. There are many many jobs in Jerusalem there is IDT and other outsourcing companies where people do American work. There are many jobs for teachers, many haredim especially the hassidim have their own stores. Its only Ynet and people who do not know haredim who think they do not have jobs

I was the third tenant to move into Ramat Eshkol in 1969. I am also a good Conservative Jew. I guess if I were still in Jerusalem living in that apartment, I would be forced to move. How sad.

what happens with our people in our holy land ? Jews without Judaism ? I am not a ortodox or ultra-ortodox, but I know who I am and what heritage we received from Sinai and the oportunity we have to improve ourselves and change things around us. . Judaism has from its inception in Sinai over 3300 years ago dealt directly and wisely with the issues of life. It is a faith centered on man and his problems, weaknesses and greatness and in a firm belief of a Creator who has fashioned us all and guide us. But we have to do our part of the game. I have in my direct family haredim, seculars and between them (Everyone respect the other ). This environment gave me the oportunity to know these different worlds. NOBODY IS PERFEKT but in the haredy world I have seen many beautiful and inspirational thinks like solidarity, respect, familiar life, honesty, decency etc. (much more than in others egments) OK, we see books and more books instead of TVs, but we are the People of the Book or not ? To 4 - Gabriela, you are right, we need more respect and comprehension than hate. And this article , I agree is more one example of hareidi hatred. To 1- Daisy- as 2-depends which sect and as 26- what is the definition of zilonism . One thing is who loves Israel and another is to agree with the decisions of our authorities about the character of our Jewish State. TO 2 ---tou are ouside of the reality. You probably take your knowlege in the midia or perhaps with our Post-Zionist people .But what I see in the daily. life is ompletely different. . The midia also (unfortunately ) presents false conclusions and numbers without any proof or evidence. This bias is more comum than we can imagine. To 18----Alex this is not the correct vision I have--- When man are sick they are looking inside and thinking they are god.,

39. Haredim and Army Service
Eric ,   London, UK   (08.29.06)
Is it true that Haredim are excused from Army duty? If so, waht is their stance on disengagement if they are not sacrificing anything for the protection of Israel proper. Don't get me wrong, studying the Torah is bound to be difficult, but so is sweat and blood!
40. shame on you!
josh ,   jerusalem   (11.29.06)
Shame on the author for stuffing his prejudice against the chareidim into this article. sure, major problem, isnt it, that the streets of jerusalem should once again be filled with children and that the capital of the jewish state should be filling up with families that are proud and practicing jews. dear author, get a life.
