1. Probably a settler
Secular Sabra ,   Tel Aviv   (05.23.06)
A left-wing activist calling soldiers Nazis? Couldn't be. Sounds like one of those "peace loving" mitnahablim to me.
2. how Equal ?
bram ,   utrecht   (05.23.06)
dombo. equal repect to muHAMmad, pro jihad lost her marbles.
3. Saving civilians lives from suicide bombings = Nazism?
Boaz ,   Ramat Gan, Israel   (05.23.06)
That idea is twisted and demented, but just like the anti disengagement activists from the far end right the looove to shout that word at everything they disagree with, as if they have monopoly on that word and everything around them. It gives the such a power rush they just got to have another fix and keep on shouting it.
4. Soul corruption
Yoni ,   Israel   (05.23.06)
The Mahsom Watch activist is right about the occupation corrupting our soul. His own behavior is proof of that. As for the soldiers being offended and a complaint being made: was any official complaint when tens if not hundreds of settlers verbally abused soldiers, policemen and -women in exactly the same way as this Mahsom Watch activist did? This just shows once again that extremists have so much in common, not only when it comes to abusing the memory of the millions who were murdered by the Nazis.
5. In the US, insulting an officer of the law is a crime

15. #7,and to all
Fadi ,   Jerusalem , Tel Aviv   (05.23.06)
Im not here to say that wat happened is rite or wrong , or that it came from a left wing or rite wing activisits... Im here to say that some of actions that are taking places by IDF are not humaniterian , and for some people, wether they are PAlestinians , Israelies or international organisations do compair it with wat the Nazi did to Jewish. Maybe IDF should recalculate thier actions , and the officers on charge should watch thier soldiers more often in order not to let people call them in this way.
16. #1; Is actually an Arab named Ahmed.

20. Michael
Fadi ,   Jerusalem , Tel Aviv   (05.23.06)
That is another subject, lots of issues to b discusses and reviewed. these actions by IDF are been taken in too many places , checkpoints etc , its s part of a daily life that lots of people are facing and dealing with. Wat caused checkpoints , wat caused these actions , its something big and needs lots of discusion. I was talking about the actions taken by IDF , and lots of accidents has been reported in many places that danger wasnt a part of it .all we need to do is to change our goals and intentions.
21. Come out, come out wherever you are
Yoel Ariel ,   US   (05.23.06)
So Secular Sabra has come out of his bunker. Wasn't it dark in there, Sec? Hey Sec, Do you admit now that the Sharon, now Olmert gang who could'nt think straight screwed the pooch with dis-engagement, and that there has been NO NET GAIN, of any POSITIVE military, political, economic or societal nature as a result of the removal of Jews from their homes in Gush Katif and because of the disemgagement the re-positioning of fowrard firebases closer towards intended targets placing them in needless danger, from which there is no current active defensive measures ((except public relations fire)), by virtue of allowing a vacumn to exist was plainly forseeable stupidity? Huh? Huh? Do ya' huh? Do ya'? Do you agree that the ONLY answer to the QUESTION is to: 1-Remove the threat by counter battery or air strike fire. 2-Remove the firebases by forcing them to relocate out of range, ergo removing the threat. 3-Kill them well and often 4-Re-establish zones of refusal from which hostile forces are denied freedom of movement and thereby the means to place the potential targets at rest from the threat. Or: Do you still maintain that the dis-engagement and kicking all of those pesky settlers out brought peace and happiness? Let me guess? I am going to be laughing at your antics for a loooong time, but a lot less time expended on the Kadima-krat follies as they are removed from the scene, and slip into israel's formative modern history. The blatant incompetence of the Olmert/Peretz/Peres (he in jail yet?)Livid Livni ensemble is soon to hit the skids, greased by their own lubes. Peretz as Minister of Defense? Oh Man,my sides are splitting. Sort of the open an umbrella and it will lessen the danger of sharapnel, defense school. School? Maybe THAT is not a good word to use in conjunction with the name Peretz.
22. machson watch should be out lawed.
keren ,   sao paulo   (05.23.06)
They are threating Israel'security,by not leting soldiers work the way they have to. These women should be completly forbiden to stay in the check points. If they desagree with something they can WRITE to IDF commanders and give their opinions. I am AMAZED how Israel let these women there!!! Out of the above mentioned threats, they are incitening division in the Country;they are working to weaken the Country;to split the Country! It is not possible to keep such an anomaly in Israel!!!!
23. #20 what causes the harsh checkpoints ?
michael ,   tel aviv   (05.23.06)
Attacks on Israeli citizens cause the perhaps 'stressful' check points Israel has to check for knives and bombs. This in not 'complicated' and does not require 'a lot of discussion' ! 5 years ago I used to go to Jericho twice a month to eat and to shop and to Jafo at least once a month. In Bethlehem after the start of the antifada a storekeeper told me 'I wish the Israelis were in charge again - my life was good and now I have no customers'. I don't go to Jafo to eat and to shop anymore and obviously not to Jericho or Bethlehem. Most Israelis only want peace and shared prosperity with you but suicide bombers are not the way! Israel will not go away - it's here to stay. Suicide bombers only make the world turn away from you. Israel doesn't want to govern you or control your lives .. Stop attacking and trying to attack (more important) and Israel will be a friend and help you develop your economy and to lead better lives. I, like many Israelis offer my hand in friendship .. regards, Michael
24. Another fake !!
Secular Sabra ,   Israel   (05.23.06)
Secular Sabra , Tel Aviv # 1 IS NOT ME !! Nice try from the right wing nut jobs on here . It's not the first time they have tried to set me up. You guys never can play fair can you ? Anybody that cares to can check with YNET . a) the IP's won't match. b) I do not live in Tel Aviv.
25. Human Rights Activists
NYC Girl   (05.23.06)
The time has come to stop referring to these people and the groups they represent as activists for "human rights." The only human rights they give a shit about are those of the terrorists.
26. Should be face to face apology - not cop-out letter
Karen R ,   Maryland   (05.23.06)
While I am inclined to agree with Machsom watch about many things, I think that this kind of behavior is inexcusable. Nobody - settler or rights activist - has a right to call an IDF soldier, who is risking his/her life to defend them, a "Nazi." The activist should be required to apologist to the soldier face to face, not via some impersonal "letter to the commander." And Machsom Watch had better start paying attention to the personality and stability of the people it sends to the checkpoints. It is essential that people defending justice themselves act justly.
27. a "nazi" and a "beast"
Kyle ,   Southpark, CO, USA   (05.23.06)
But when this Machsom Watch beyotch was watching on TV the yassamnikim at Amona crack the skulls of Jewish teenage girls and boys, she was laughing and singing and guzzling beer.
28. Re #3 And your rush is ...
Steve ,   USA   (05.23.06)
B"H ... basing disengagement deactivists. So my rush is bashing you, not because I hate you, but because I think your course of action is not wise. What is happening is that those innocents are being removed leaving the guilty. Obviously the Jews residing in that area of Gaza are not responsible for the increasing missile launches, since these people are completly impoverished inside Israel, thanks to the last government, even though they were demonized and completely ignored in their warnings that the violence is something directed at the State of Israel and not just them specifically. I warn you so you might wake up and promote some sanity before Jews are ripped out from east of the fence. Because if you take out the Jews who are calming the situation, you are left to deal with the violence yourself. And I do not want that for you, and therefore it is my responsibility to warn you. What you need to do is to make sure the current "evacuees" are well taken care of, and this is not for their sake ironically, but for your sake. If you do not take care of them now, you are going to lose your sanity of perspective on what IS REALLY going on. And then I cannot even save you from the situation.
29. Re #24 Unfortunately not fake
Steve ,   USA   (05.23.06)
B"H Like the embarrasing incident reported with the Gafni contributor (not Rabbi Gafni as misrepresented by YNET, since he did not have active smicha) [ see http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3253650,00.html ] and the embarrasing incidents reported about the IDF statutory rape [ see http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3248551,00.html ] , this incident is not fake. There is a witness to the incident. Now here we have trial by press. And I say in all three incidents we have insufficient information to reach a final verdict. However, there is enough information to warrant a serious investigation. It can be done by the press or by the justice system, but this accusation needs to be resolved so that the public has accurate information. I am hoping YNET is going to follow-up with active accusations instead of just dropping them, with serious investigative journalism. If there are innocents, the public needs corrections published. If there are guilties, YNET needs the final information and relevant links to close the trial in the press.
30. Re #4, Not only complaint, but ...
Steve ,   USA   (05.23.06)
B"H skulls were cracked, people were beaten, some were thrown in jail without charges for taking pictures and no other problem, and somehow you are trying to make equavelnce between those trying to protect you and those trying to protect your enemies. Take a look at the following reference: http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3089456,00.html I think there is a huge difference between blocking traffic in a protest and demoralizing troops sent to defend the public from homocide bombings with Nazi slurs in the process of active defence. Even those most actively protesting did not interrupt the troop's defense work. Why is Women in Green basically shut down with silencing of Nadia Matar and formal charges, but this group runs rampantly amok? Take a look at this: http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3213268,00.html
