1. Time to take out the 13,000 + missiles
el allowing this growing threat of Hezbollah who can now target Ber Sheva and Tel Aviv with the latest missiles from Iran ?
Will Israel's politician wait till they rain dow on every Israeli city to go after them ?
Why not get pro-active instead of waiting for Hezbollah to strike to do somehting.
Always worried and fearful about how Israel will be percieved by the corrupt nations is a recipie for defeat.

If Israel is an apartheid state, please explain us how we can have a heroic captain who commands our soldiers, who helped his men fight Hizbullah on the battlefield and whose name is Captain Abdullah!

3. Why are Jewish soldiers being endangered to
protect "civilian" Arabs? Sorry, but this seemingly ingenious attack on Hezbollah seems needlessly dangerous. Why couldn't everything be done from the air? And why is the Hezbollah leadership still intact?

4. #3 moron from america
merkava can sustain direct hit from anti tank rocket with very little damage
it has excellent armour
also, we dont volunteer in infantry units because we dont want to fight and protect our people, whether they are Jewish, Arab, Druzi, Beduin, or whatever
stay in america stupid you got no brains
all you people do is bomb everything from air and kill a whole lot of innocent people that have nothing to do with the fighting - and you dont do it by mistake - you do it because you stupid

6. I strongly agree with #2
LOL very good point.
It is worth noting that Druze and Bedouin Muslim Arabs have served with distinction in the Israeli army since its creation. Some of these men have risen to senior officer rank. I know of one example who rose to the rank of Lt. Colonel, became a senior Northern Command officer and has subsequently served in consecutive Israeli Knessets.
However, I doubt very much that the leftist anti-Semites have any clue about the reality of life in Israel, or that they care at all about the truth.

7. Take it easy, no. 4
we stupid american shave 130,000 soldiers on the ground in Iraq and another bunch in Afghanistan. If we were doing it all from the air it'd be much cheaper and easier. We're all on the same side, and we're all trying to achieve the same goal against the same bunch of barbarians. Don't be angry at your friends (Iesp. those who don't want Jewish lives lost).

9. IDF are loosers
IDF officer: Next time we’ll hit harder .
I really suggest that he does not do that, because then you will test the hell.
your IDF is good at killing civilians only, but when they face our freedom fighters, they just get sliced. do you remember KANA and Anssarieh? in KANA your IDF killed 106 child and women in a UN camp, using your best technology.
in Anssarieh, we killed a dozen of your special forces coming to do a terrorist operation in our country.
with every martyr you kill, another 20 join. so zip it and try to tell your IDF to stop threatning.

10. #7: you don't get it
#4 is saying that all israeli lives are equally valuable to him, not just the jews'. Note that one of the Israeli soldiers has an arabic name: Phares Abdullah.
Is it more barbaric to respond in revenge, or to dump thousands of bombs killing thousands of innocent people? The true barbarians in Iraq are the people who have slaughtered thousands in the name of greed.

Regarding explaining this to our Ellen and Hitchings et al, they would come up with some feeble excuse as to how they were compromised and forced into service at gunpoint or being commies and pinkos probably stating some method or other used by the KGB of old. Once red, stuck in the head.

15. #4, 13, 14
Thanks for the vote of support, Yakov. I think that no-name doesn't have the courage even to "face" me with a fake name.
As for you, no-name, what are you talking about? The present story portrays yet another example of heroic and clever actions by the IDF againt Hezbollah terrorists and their "Palestinian" accomplices. And yet, these sorts of actions are very dangerous for Israeli soldiers. I say hitting back with "narrowly targeted responses" will not only fail to secure peace in the north but will also needlessly endanger the troops. NEEDLESS endangerment is something you should oppose, although frankly, if someone needs to be killed because of such a "defense doctrine," perhaps you should be the one, as you seem to support it so fervently.
The idea that all the US does is bomb from the air is so asinine (given the number of dead American soldiers already in Iraq), that you effectively disqualify yourself from deserving more of my time.
I should point out, though, that the US, sensibly or not, is trying to create a democracy in Iraq, and that does indeed require land forces, and plenty of them. Israel is not trying to make the PA a democracy in a far away land, nor could it succeed in a million years if it tried. That means risky ground operations have far fewer benefits.
Or don't you under such things as the concept of a "mission"?
Damn right: if the only effective way of destroying the enemy is to take a hospital or school along with it, I would be pefectly willing to do so. Not only is this legal according to that farce called international law, it lessens the likelihood that human shields will be used in the future.
Put that in your merkava and smoke it. And watch those explosive devices that have turned a fine tank into a death trap.
People like you pretend to morality. But YOUR morality leads to needless Jewish deaths and, less important but still worth noting, needless Arab deaths too, because the war is prolonged.

16. Comment from "IDF are loosers"
This "thing" called a human from Lebnon, South Lebanon talked abut the IDF killing civilians...well, let's see, most of these freedom fighters hide in schools, kindergartens, hospitals, apartments and even behind children. The reason that, as this "moron" states, the IDF kills children and women is perhaps due to the fact that these so-called brave freedom fighters hide behind them!! The reason that IDF special forces in Anssarieh were killed is becasue IDF does not hide behind innocent bystanders. Terrorists, not Freedom fighters are sub-human and will get theirs wishes, to become martyrs. Hopefully, all of them. IDF, make sure you deliver what they ask for , martyrdm wrapped in HARD MOVING STEEL. I salute the IDF.

18. To Leb in Montreal
Regarding your comment about "killing in the name of greed", terrorists, opps sorry, freedom fighters, killed for the hell of it and becasue they want everyone to be muslim...this is not a religion, is a belief system based on some barbaric notion that if you don't convert, you should be killed.
I wonder how many torture rooms are operating now after the fall of that other "peace-loving" guy, Saddam...
