I have been having to aply almost all of the few Idish words I know ,which define very well actual government: -Economy is increasing at the same time poverty is too, creating an umprecedent social gap. -Taxes,duties,revenues being maybe the highest in the world(public money thrown off as garbage!) . -Families "disengaged"still waiting to be re-engaged . -Plans in course to "disangage" still more people(milions of shekels wasted, saying the least!),creating more of the same situation that has not been resolved yet, increasing the problem. -An extremelly expensive wall being constructed, without the root of the problem being resolved, hence, very doubtfull in its effectivness. - Umprecedent corruption suspicions. -Heath and educational system decreasing in quality. -And now...cut in Defense budget... They are leading tha country to a disaster-G'od forbid!,with Oslo hands "helping" to complete the disgusting scenario.

5. Olmert: "WE ARE TIRED of DEFEATING our ENEMIES"
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (05.30.06)
Olmert is tired of defeating Israel's enemies and consequently wants to cut Israel's urgently needed defense budget. "We are tired of fighting, we are tired of being courageous, we are tired of winning, we are tired of defeating our enemies, we want to be able to live in an entirely different environment of relations with our enemies." -- Ehud Olmert in a June 2005 address to the Israel Policy Forum in New York. As Israel's enemies grow stronger, strengthend with the Gaza surrender, Olmert makes the stunning admission that he's tired of defeating Israel's enemies. Tired of winning, Olmert plans to surrender the strategic high ground of Judea and Samaria to Israel's barbaric enemies, so that they can win.
6. ISRAEL justGAVE MILLIONSof DOLLARS in Tax Revenues to PA/PLO
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (05.30.06)
and gave arms to the Islamo-Fascists who war against Israel day and night. How can Israel survive with a Defense minister who arms Israel's barbaric enemies and a prime minister who agrees to treason! Every single one of the Palestinian Authority security services are involved in terrorism against Israel! YNET article (05.25.06, 21:27) Israel to transfer arms to Abbas' forces PM Olmert approves defense minister's recommendation to enable weapons' transfer to PA chairman's security forces... http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3255249,00.html
7. Olmert's objective is clear
Leo ,   Israel   (05.30.06)
The budgeting is part and parcel of "covergence." After all Olmert needs around US$ 20 billion (over a quarter of Israel's entire budget) to implement his "convergence plan" and the US, so far, aint gonna budge with financial assistance. So expect to see massive cuts like -this one to the IDF - to all key sectors of Israeli society. The government with its zealous desire to implement this loony "convergence plan" to expel 100,000 Jews is just getting wackier and wackier.

Olmert is an obsessed, wimp, unclever and dangerous maniac. I can not understand how he got to power;how Israelis permitted such a person to lead their lives. It is incredible! And I will repeat something:How can man that was the WORST Mayor Jerusalem ever had,be a good PM for Israel?Didn't you,Israelis, see it before voting him? It is cristal clear this man doesn't have any SIGHT!He is obsessed with a plan, and is unable to SEE this plan is going to be a tragic failure if kept on being implemented. It will weaken the country, divide its people and bring about a disgrace in Israeli economy and welfare. I might be wrong, but ,for now,to me it is very clear to where Olmert's mind is going to lead the country.
9. ISRAEL Gave GAZA & Gas GIVEN to JEWS By G-D, to Islamists
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (05.30.06)
An act of treason committed in time of war. With massive cuts to Israel's defense, Israel's economic and defense situation is desperate. Why do Israel's leaders want to lose the war? Gulf Times Doha, Qatar Egypt reaps huge benefits from battle over Gaza’s gas Published: Monday, 29 May, 2006, 09:36 AM Doha Time CAIRO: Egypt has unexpectedly reaped huge economic and strategic benefits as a result of an acrimonious battle between Israel, the Palestinians and British Gas over the Gaza Strip’s new-found energy bonanza. After years of secretive horse-trading, Egypt is set to pip Israel at the post to buy gas recently discovered off the shores of the troubled Gaza Strip, now under Palestinian control after the Israeli withdrawal last year. “The Palestinians have some gas resources we are interested in having, and they need money, so we are also working on this project with them,” Egyptian Oil Minister Sameh Fahmi told AFP. “It’s a very important issue”. The turnaround came last week when British Gas (BG) broke off protracted talks for the sale of Gaza natural gas to Israel, sparking an outcry there over the billions of dollars the lost contract could cost the state. The British giant, which operates Gaza’s offshore fields, said it would instead sell to Egypt, which wins on all fronts by consolidating its rank of sixth gas exporter in the world and will become Israel’s sole gas provider. Gas is expected to bring a major windfall by 2010 to the embattled Palestinian Authority, which has been desperately seeking cash since the international community protested Hamas’ rise to power this year by freezing aid...
10. Who knows how to switch her off?

I have the impression that the prophet Linda is out of control. Who knows how to switch her off? Her shoutings are not only irrelevant but also boring.
11. The truth is allways hard to swallow
Joseph ,   Jerusalem   (05.30.06)
You have to put the defense budget into perspective, firstly by evaluating the needs of the IDF, the modernization of the IDF to 5th Generation technology, and immediate and present danger, with this you will get a clear picture that we are on the wrong foot. So why the uproar, yes, jobs will be lost, yes many factories will have to rationalize, is this for the worse or the better? The latter is the answer, simple truth is that Israel does not face the dangers it once did, we are in a cycle were only technology, neither tanks, nor fighter helicopters will ensure our security. So we have some big losers, they are the arms industry and the many wealthy industrialists, instead of moving away from expensive hard to maintain technology, they just created an environment that costs the tax payer, and a heavy cost at that, we don’t need Merkava tanks, we don’t need Apache helicopters. We need an economy where people can live and be satisfied with their standard of life, it is no small wonder that so many generals end up in the private sector, why I ask, is this just pay-back. Stop the economic corruption, eliminate poverty, stop this class society that cares nothing for the poor, and only looks after the selfish rich.
