4. It's Official
David ,   Tel-Aviv   (05.31.06)
Someone please tell me what Olmert is thinking? The whole world is against this ridiculous withdrawal including all of europe, the US and now Egypt and Jordan. Sharons folly in Gaza (which the right rightously opposed) has bore fruit-a full fledged terrorist base adjacent to Israel and Egypt.(Bibi-"I told you so") And now the west bank is next!!!! Olmert, its not to late to say "I made a mistake, the pullout is a bad policy"
5. WOWWWWWWW THESE ARE NEWS : ) !!1

6. We must get rid of Olmert
Josh ,   Jerusalem   (05.31.06)
Isn't it insane that Egypt and Jordan realize the threat of pulling out of the West Bank, but our own country's leaders continue to go ahead with it? Olmert doesn't care about our security. All that he wants is to be liked in the international community. He just wants to go down in the history books as the person who changed Israeli policy, yet he disregards the effects of this change. He is a power-hungry snake who, by letting al-Qaida, Islamic Jihad and anybody else set up camp in the West Bank, will lead this country to its destruction. But he doesn't care, his family and money aren't here anyway.
7. Mubarak
(05.31.06)
I know this idea sounds bad and you probably never thought about it. But... how about asking Israel for help? you think we will decline? I'm doubted. Ask Olmert for help against terror and he will help you. You are an important ally and I believe olmert knows that. Just try... instead of saying everything we do is wrong. You can try negotiating too.
8. He is funny,isn't he?
keren ,   sao paulo   (05.31.06)
So Israel has to carry the bundle, heh? He prefers Israel to keep in infinital and inutiles conversations with Abbas hence perpetuating Israel's bitter situation of holding a roquet that is not its own ,and that no one of them want to keep! Funny!!! So,if they don't want Israel's withdrawal , resolv themselves the problem and relocate those anarchists to hell. Let me tell you...after reading this,it is the first time I guess Israel should(maybe) keep its withdrawal intentions ,untill forcing these Jordan and Egyptians cowards to take THEIR responsability in THEIR hands. ARABS ARE ARAB'S PROBLEM,NOT ISRAEL'S PROBLEM!
9. Mr.Mubarak and King Abdullah,Sirs
yakov shani ,   IL.   (05.31.06)
All of a sudden irony has taken on a whole new meaning. Both of you, look in the mirrors, then look your Arab brothers straight in the face, then look at the world eyeball to eyeball, and while doing this announce to the world that you are forming a military alliance with Israel to counteract the pending and imminent threat ( notice I do not say "growing ") to your people and their sovereignty and the probable disruption of life as you know it. The Palestinians whom you supported and encouraged are turning against you. This will also be the fate of all the lefties and academic do gooders in the West who supported them, they do not understand, poor people, why they can not accept the word of people with first hand knowledge and experience I shall never know. Oh so sad.
10. Israel right to withdraw Gaza..Hamas can growl at Egypt/Jord
Alan ,   SA   (05.31.06)
11. hehe #6

If Egypt OR Jordan thinks it's a bad thing, then you surely know it's the right thing. :P
12. One more question...
keren ,   sao paulo   (05.31.06)
Does he think we Jews,"setlers"in the case, have to be used as human shields, when it is in their interests? What crazy thing is that? So...now "setlers"must be kept in WB in order to protect them, egyptians and Jordanians? Our interests don't count at all? Are we there to serve them, maybe? What's that? Hope Olmert and his advisors will use this powerfull tool in their hands and push these arabs leaders to solve pals problems at once and for all, before it strenghtens more that it has already been.

of INNOCENTS. The "peace" that Egypt gives Israel: YNET Article (04.18.06, 07:51) Tel Aviv attack. 'There will be more' Egyptian paper praises Tel Aviv bombing State-controlled Al Gomhuria calls Monday's suicide bombing 'sacrificial, martyrdom attack,' warns more attacks to follow Associated Press An Egyptian state-controlled newspaper praised Monday's suicide attack in Tel Aviv, which killed nine people and wounded dozens, calling it an act of sacrifice and martyrdom. http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3241041,00.html The deployment of Egypt's military on Israel's border at the invitation of Israeli leaders is astonishing and treasonous. M.K. Steinitz stated: Egyptian military "has been training for war against Israel for the past 10 years." In 2004, U.S. Congressman Tom Lantos in the House International Relations Committee, warned Egypt was building up its military in preparation for a future war with Israel. Egypt receives from the U.S. $1.7 billion dollars in aid annually.
16. Even The Egyptians Think Its A Bad Plan... Ouch.

17. My thesis is proven right
Caligula's Horse ,   Solomon's Stables   (05.31.06)
Unilateral withdraw and retreats at the face of the Islamist enemy incurages fundamental elements around the world and would tip all of the secular regimes in the middle east in a domino effect, the unorganised and unilateral retreat from Lebanon was the first crack, and every withdrawal leaves a power vaccum, quickly assumed by Islamists, the agressive exporting of the Islamic revolution by Iran will do the rest, Jordan will fall first thanks to its large majority of fundamental Palestinian Hamasniks, and quickly after it Egypt, Syria, Saudia, Marroco, Algieria, Libya, and basicly every pro-westren and\or secular Arab regime will fall, most of those regimes are standing on chicken legs as it is.
18. # 1 - Yeah Alan ,
Ginette Golden ,   Toronto, Canada   (05.31.06)
It makes no sense, unless....... The Egyptians are scared shit of the Arab terrorists , just like most neighboring Arab countries, lol.
19. # 15 Yes Linda,
Ginette Golden ,   Toronto, Canada   (05.31.06)
People seem to be suffering from short and long term memory all at once. # 8 - Keren is so right when she writes: ARABS ARE ARAB'S PROBLEM, NOT ISRAEL'S PROBLEM! Let them "finish" each other, there is plenty to go around!
