2. Very Valid Points Made By Marzel
Marzel has some very valid points.
As long as Israel's leaders are allowed to sleep nothing will be change.
IF the families of these leaders would suffer the same way as those who are being bombarded night and day by rockets are, then the IDF/IAF response will be different.
The people in S'derot should hold nightly vigils in fron of the new DM's home.

9. Setup a video game, "War-games West"
B"H
Some enterprising fellow could setup a video game. Basically a camera would take a piture of Gaza and it would be motor mounted. When a missile is fired, then the game player would have a chance to put his sight on the object, and shoot a paintball. There could be sound sensors also, with trackes of the sound reading over the last 24 hours from multiple microphones so that the source can be tracked via audio.
The paintball would be a different color for each player. Then when the missile lands, it can be inspected to see if it is shot down correctly with the paintball.
This would be such an excellent video game. And it would be as effective as the current lip service at stopping the incoming attack!
But then if the military gives authorization, it could hire profesionals to play and see if they can actually perform like the amateurs and really take the missiles down before they put fear in the hearts of children!
If it is dangerous and is not going to get resolved by someone more intent on importing terrorists then exporting them, why not have some fun in the process!

13. "Extreme Right-Wing Activist" puts in mildly
In other countries they use the term "Neo-Nazi" to describe people with Marzel's views.
If people like him would support the IDF, instead of sabotaging them and constantly grandstanding, it might help the people of Sderot (and the rest of Israel) to get the peace we want. But we all know he doesn't want peace or quiet - it doesn't fit his agenda, which is about noise, trouble, hatred, violence, war etc etc.
In any case, very many people voted for Peretz and very few for this sack of dirt from Boston. If all you people in the US like Marzel so much, why don't you make Aliyah so you can vote for him? ( I suspect there are very few of you too, you just like to make a lot of noise, like Far Right extremists everywhere).

14. Zionist nutcase, does not represent the chareidi world
Baruch Marzel is a Zionist nutcase who should not be taken seriously by anyone.
He dresses like chareidim to, but HE IS NOT CHAREIDI. He is an extreme right-wing religious zionist and causes a MAJOR chillul Hashem for chareidim by wearing a jacket and black kippah.
He is a dirty fascist liar who represents a huge danger to the Jewish world. I, my whole synagogue and hundreds of thousands of other chareidi Jews condemn this idiot and do not wish to be associated with this nutcase in any way.
This man represents a thirst for BLOOD, a longing for WAR, a quest for SUFFERING of innocent people.
Read the writings of the Chofetz Chaim, the Chazon Ish, Rav Shach, the Satmar Rov, Rav Avigdor Miller, the Brisker Rov, Rav Yosef Tzvi Dushinsky, and many many others. Their opinions are the opinion of the chareidi world, not what some lunatic named Baruch Marzel says.

15. Daniel van Dalen is right almost 100%
What is the 1% he is not right? The Messianic branch of the Lubavitcher chasidim are using quotes from their deceased Rebbe to justify just about anything done to achieve "Greater Israel." Some people use this as an excuse for views and actions which the rest of Hareidim view with horror.
Maybe Marzel is Lubavitcher, in which case he is not hypocritical, just nuts.

17. #13: David, Al Quds STILL won't answer Yoel's QUESTION
|
|
18. 13 (David, Al Quds)
David, I used to respond in detail to you, and I have archived my responses. No more. I have yet to see an intelligent talkback from you. Specifically, one that actually sets out premises and reasons from them based on evidence. You are hopelessly befuddled. Mean time, the missiles hit Sderot and Ashkelon; discos, falafel stands, & dinner parties are the sites of terrorist explosions; and people like you bawl about "neo-Nazis," not noticing that you have full-fledged ones in Yesha and accomplices in Green-Line Israel.
Here's how you should know that you're a nut (but typical of the Israeli Left that runs the country): you could not find a single democratic populace that would permit its leaders to behave in the craven and self-defeating way that Israel's leaders behave. This includes the French.
Now if you were me (meaning if you actually knew something about politics), you would immediately say "A ha! But Israel is not a democracy, so the comparison is unfair!" To which I would response, "You are right."

19. Daniel van Dalen (#14)
Let me get this straight: someone in a clown suit is calling Marzel a "nutcase"? I guess Daniel has lots of time on his hands, what with his draft exemption and welfare.
Mr. van Dalen: I find almost nothing admirable about the haredim. Most loathesome, though, is their propensity toward violence, their shirking of responsibility, and their singleminded willingness to sacrifce other Jews so they can get more "schools" where they perpetuate their bogus Judaism.
|
|
20. Baruch Marzel , go back to Poland! This is the best solution
|
|
21. #20 (No-name)
Do you really want to persue that line of attack, given that almost all of Israel's Jews have returned only a few generations back (at most)? Or maybe, being a leftist, you think only of destroying your fellow Jew, and haven't thought one step ahead?
|
|
22. #19 Is this the best you can do, use slander and lies?
I wear the same 'clown suit' that your buddy Marzel wears on that photo and the same kippah.
From where do you assume this WELFARE thing??? Perhaps I WORK for my money??? I have not seen such slanderous and unfounded lies in a long time.
Instead of coming with arguments, you just attack me by scolding at me. Yeah, really shows your level, eh.
Next: 'your' propensity towards violence is MUCH stronger and shows in stoning IDF soldiers, trying to lynch policemen, and beating up anyone who doesn't agree. Chareidim don't practice violence - only a small fringe group of shababniks do.
And what are you talking about? "Sacrifice other Jews"??? Some examples, please? Are you aware of the meaning of the word 'sacrifice'?
And about your accusation of 'bogus Judaism' I can be very short: Let's see which Judaism still exists in a long time from now (but Moshiach should come before that) -- yours or mine.

23. #22 (Daniel van Dalen)
Oh please. You whine about "slander and lies" after referring to Marzel as "a zionist nutcase" and "a dirty fascist liar," and after saying "this man represents a thirst for BLOOD"? Then you bawl that *I* do not offer arguments? Poor Mr. van Dalen: I've treated him so poorly.
The fact is that, as a group, haredim and Arabs are the two biggest welfare recipients in Israel. We both know it. In addition, both haredim and Arabs are anti-Zionist. We know that too. And both (along with the Left) have language like "fascist" on their lips. Don't try to con me.
As for violence, I do not know what percentage of haredim engage in it. I don't trust Ynet to tell me. But I do know that Orange Israel does not stab someone marching in a Jerusalem gay pride event. I do not know how violent haredim are as a group, but clearly there is a problem. And if I didn't know this ahead of time, I would certainly guess it from your vicious original talkback, which betrays a hatred of Jews different from yourself. And you are no "shabadnik."
You sacrifice other Jews by koshering the expulsion of Jews from Yesha. And for what?
For welfare and "education" for the haredi mass, and for money and power for your leadership. It's disgusting. Of course, you need "education" to train haredim in how to betray their Jewish brothers.
You call your galut religion "Judaism." Yet when I actually read what you have to say, your "Judaism" boils down to "fascist," "blood sucker," and so forth. Clearly, all of your "study" has not improved you. Perhaps it is you, not the course of study. But I think it's both.
I used to challenge attacks on the haredim on Ynet. No more. It's not the clown suit that's the problem. It's the people and religion of those who typically where it.
