I know my post did not make any sense to you. Let me put it in plain English. Attacks on Israel and the Israeli will nevr end as long as Israel exist. That is the truth and that is the realty. You can build more walls and fences around and above Israel and that will never change a thing. Hope you get it this time "Jane"

Many great and.. not so great repeated the lines you repeat now, Haj amin al-Husseini, the first Palestinian nationalist did, he spent his finest years siding with our biggest enemies and slaughtering Jews, he sent his beloved cousin to itbach al yahud and got him back in a coffin, he then witnessed time after time his Arab brothers defeated in war, and died lonely in Bayrut, far away from home. Nasser, the great leader of the Arab nation, died after a humiliating defeat at the hands of the Jews whom he wished so badly to throw into the sea. Hafez Assad, the honourable Syrian president, died old and weak while Israel was at its highest, only to succeded by his stupid and inexperienced son. Ahmed Yassin, founder of Hamas, was obliterated long before he could watch his dream of the dissolvment of Israel. Saddam ended up in an American prison. Saadat, the glorious leader of Egypt, after witnessing his defeat, realised that the way is peace and not war, sadly, there are people in his country who want war to prevail, and wish to take us back to the bad times of this area.

Even though they faaaaar outnumbered the Israelis, they got their butts kicked MILES back into their own country. Pretty embarrassing huh? LOL!

Israel will no longer have to kill when you stop funding the terrorists and your buddies the terrorists stop sending missiles and homicide bombers to kill innocents in Israel. Until then thank G-d for the vigilance of the IDF in protecting their land.

Shalom Jacob, Your Ellen Prescott is just a typical anti semite . She pretends to be just anti Israel and says she wants peace but the peace that she wants for Israel is extinction. She is no better than the Nazis She just hates Jews.

12: Murder is not a matter to joke about. Oh no, stones! The horror! Certainly they cause as much angst as laser-guided bunker busters launched from Apache helicopters. I seriously doubt that Egypt is hell bent on destroying Israel. Perhaps a small minority, but certainly the same per centage of Israelis wish to see an extermination of Arabs. Of course Israel is too strong, it has been pumped up with billions of dollars from the USA annually. The real danger Israel is in right now is in that it is losing the last bit of respect it has got around the globe due to its ghetto-isation of the Palestinian people. 14; Though I am an Anglican, I do have respect for the Qu'ran and believe that it has wonderful tales and analogies. 18; Israel feels free to murder absolutely anybody it deems a 'terrorist.' In the real world, we follow the rule of law. 19; I have a quote for you, from Knesset speaker Avraham Burg: 'Israel, having ceased to care about the children of Palestinians, should not be surprised when they come, washed in hatred, and blow themselves up in the centres of Israeli escapism. They consign themselves to Allah in our place of recreation, because their own lives are TORTURE. They spill their own blood in our restaurants, in order to ruin our appetites, because they have children and parents at home who are hungry and humiliated.' 20; In 1947, Arabs retaliated at the splitting of Palestine. Palestinian violence has historically tended to be a violence of resistance against military targets, which is entirely legal under international law. Certainly a soveriegn nation has a right to defend itself, however, in Israel's case, it is illegally occupying a people, over whom it practises apartheid-like laws, and it is obliged under the 4th Geneva convention to protect the inhabitants it occupies. I am undoubtedly pro-peace. Palestine is a real place that has existed for several thousand years. I sympathise with the Palestinians as they have been enduring brutal military occupation for 38 years now. I do not side with anybody who preaches genocide. I side with what is just, and the ongoing genocide and internment of the entire Palestinian nation is NOT JUST! 23; The genocide of any people is entirely despicable. Again you confuse opposition to Israeli occupation to race-hatred for Jews. 35; Why do you think young boys go into Israel and blow themselves up? Because they have spent their entire lives living under a crushing occupation and only witness pain and horror around them. They have nothing else to look forward to and succumb to desperation. How cruel and inhumane to call the brutal, illegal starving and theft of another country, 'protecting their land.'
42. Is Ellen real?
Caligula's Horse ,   Solomon's Stables   (06.03.06)
I mean, she writes like an English professor with perfect phrasing and what not, but the content itself is naive rubbish and propoganda which only the Syrian TV can compete with, it she a joke or something?
43. Ellen YOU know nothing about what you call Palestine
Gabrielle Goldwater ,   Geneva Switzerland   (06.03.06)
Ellen says: .....Palestine is a real place that has existed for several thousand years....... ELLEN - Facts are these: You cannot re-write history - believe me your Goebbels syndrome isn't going to work What on earth did you leant in history lessons - or did you skip education - it looks like !!! WHAT DOES "PALESTINE" MEAN? It has never been the name of a nation or state. It is a geographical term, used to designate the region at those times in history when there is no nation or state there. The word itself derives from "Peleshet", a name that appears frequently in the Bible and has come into English as "Philistine". The Philistines were mediterranean people originating from Asia Minor and Greek localities. They reached the southern coast of Israel in several waves. One group arrived in the pre-patriarchal period and settled south of Beersheba in Gerar where they came into conflict with Abraham, Isaac and Ishmael. Another group, coming from Crete after being repulsed from an attempted invasion of Egypt by Rameses III in 1194 BCE, seized the southern coastal area, where they founded five settlements (Gaza, Ascalon, Ashdod, Ekron and Gat). In the Persian and Greek periods, foreign settlers - chiefly from the Mediterranean islands - overran the Philistine districts. From the time of Herodotus, Greeks called the eastern coast of the Mediterranean "Syria Palaestina". The Philistines were not Arabs nor even Semites, they were most closely related to the Greeks. They did not speak Arabic. They had no connection, ethnic, linguistic or historical with Arabia or Arabs. The name "Falastin" that Arabs today use for "Palestine" is not an Arabic name. It is the Arab pronunciation of the Greco-Roman "Palastina"; which is derived from the Peleshet, (root Pelesh) which was a general term meaning "dividers", "penetrators" or "invaders". This referred to the Philistine's invasion and conquest of the coast from the sea. The use of the term "Palestinian" for an Arab ethnic group is a modern political creation which has no basis in fact - and had never had any international or academic credibility before 1967.
44. 41 Ellen: How did the Land of Israel become Palestine ?
Gabrielle Goldwater ,   Geneva Switzerland   (06.03.06)
HOW DID THE LAND OF ISRAEL BECOME "PALESTINE"? In the First Century CE, the Romans crushed the independent kingdom of Judea. After the failed rebellion of Bar Kokhba in the Second Century CE, the Roman Emperor Hadrian determined to wipe out the identity of Israel-Judah-Judea. Therefore, he took the name Palastina and imposed it on all the Land of Israel. At the same time, he changed the name of Jerusalem to Aelia Capitolina. The Romans killed many Jews and sold many more in slavery. Some of those who survived still alive and free left the devastated country, But there was NEVER a complete abandonment of the Land. There was NEVER a time when there were not Jews and Jewish communities, though the size and conditions of those communities fluctuated greatly.

ellen, have you ever advocated for the return of all jewish property to the million jews ethnically cleansed from nearly every arab country? Or is it just the jews you hold to a higher level of accountability and responsibility? You realize that if you have never advocated for the return of jewish property and for jews and christians to be able to immigrate beyond the apartheid walls of each arab coutry, then you are a hypocrite.

Gabrielle Goldwater ,   Geneva Switzerland   (06.03.06)
Ellen says: .......Though I am an Anglican, I do have respect for the Qu'ran and believe that it has wonderful tales and analogies.......... Face the truth from professionals - David Johnson - was born in London Learn the truth about the Quran Ellen - which you ignore David Johnson has studied Islam for more than forty years including more than sixty visits to Israel, thirty to Egypt, a year living in Lebanon, and visits to many other Islamic or Muslim controlled countries. David Johnson's concept is simple. He sees the world through the eyes of God as revealed in the Bible. The world-wide Islamic Jihad is a Muslim war against God. History shows that Islam was invented by Mohammed in the early seventh century and began with the violent overthrow of existing leaders and governments. Islam was and is a cult of war and not a religion at all in the sense we all understand religion. I know David Johnson personally - watch the videos from David - Wake up to reality http://www.davidjohnsonbooks.com/ http://www.davidjohnsonbooks.com/djhigh.html <<

I do hate even to refer to the unimportant Snaggletooth from Southsea, but two points might be helpful. She has referred to Jews as "slithering," a trope that is conclusively anti-Semitic. She also thinks the food, culture, waistlines, and no doubt dental work of LA are inferior to those of . . . Southsea. However, she does some good. For example, I have begun to sympathize with the Irish so much that I am finally reading Joyce.

M.K. Steinitz stated: Egyptian military "has been training for war against Israel for the past 10 years." In 2004, U.S. Congressman Tom Lantos in the House International Relations Committee, warned Egypt was building up its military in preparation for a future war with Israel. Egypt receives annually from the U.S. $1.7 billion dollars in aid.
