Here in the Soutwest, over 1.5m "illegals" are crossing the border each year successfully. Finally, our gov is allocating 1,000 National Guard to the border with Mexico...and Bush will hire another 5,000 or so border guards. The problems are many...lack of enforcement of existing laws, companies which want cheap labor, the support by millions of legal immigrants, and THE TIMIDITY IN SEALING THE BORDER. Those anarchists who disrepect Israel's laws (fence) are being handled with kid gloves, even though it's costing Israel shekels, and IDF personnel are wounded. Let's assume nothing was done to stop them........how far would they go beyond the border, and to what end? Israel needs more prisons (in the Negev) with no air-conditioning (like in Arizone). Or, it could plant mines along the seam fence.......Until Israel gets tough, it's opponents will get tougher. As far as foreign activists, Israel could hire mercenaries...there are lots of us available. Just ask.

The bottom line is this - the Israeli police are mandated to protect Israel's loyal citizens, NOT PA Arabs. The original UN partition plan of 1948 (which was rejected by the Arabs) was not the line which is referred to today as the green line. Which partition plan are you referring to? Jordan disavowing ownership of the land to not make the land belong to the Palestinians. They did not give the land to the Palestinians. Well, since the original partition plan gave more land to the Palestinians than what was constituted in '67, it makes their claim in even stronger. That the partition plan was rejected does not detract from the intent of those who framed the plan. As a result of that plan, the Palestinians' entitlement to the area takes precedence over Jordan's. So the latter's disavowal of a right to the area merely acknowledged what had already been established.

While I absolutely support your position, we shouldn't fail to point out that it isn't only Jews who are the victims of these savage murderers.
