This is an absolute disgrace! there is however a huge backlash against companies that ban the flag. Tesco tried to do it, but a phone-in on Talksport radio station persuaded them to backtrack after they heard how furious people were. Some Islamic scum are not going to make the majority of the English stop flying the flag for the world cup. I proudly have the flag od ST George flying from my car. Look around anywhere in England ATM and you see flags everywhere. Those companies that ban the flag are cowards and should themselves be banned. And to Uzi, go to any football match or any pub anywhere in England, and there will be people there who will show you who's the pussy.

Britain is not a 'dhimmi' state. We are the most culturally and ethnically diverse country in the entire world. We, unlike many nations, respect the geniune grievances that our ethnic minorities suffer. We do everything we can to embrace them into society, rather than make them feel unwanted. There a several random instances of flags being banned, not because of Muslims but because of the usual threat of football hooligans and general disruption. In the UK at the end of most wedding, barmitzvah etc. celebrations, it is a jewish custom to sing the national anthem followed by hatikvah. Does anyone know if the muslim community here follows the same custom of singing the national anthem?
